Lowest number online is usually weekday mid-afternoon PST ~2500

Whitegate used to be instant force DC on weekends. What I've learned is before you want to go to whitegate you search the zone. If more than 730 are in the zone it's instant DC. Under 730 you're ok. It's died down a little since patch.

Nyzul congestion is still pretty bad, but only in JP hours (weekdays and weekends). I've never seen Nyzul congestion during an NA peak hour. It's the Japanese population that seems to cause Odin to burst at times during their peak hours.

lol why is valefor not on the list of free servers? i mean im not there anymore but there was like almsot never more then 3000 people ever at peak time. iv eveen seen it hit lows of like 900 a few times.(3 of them being me...)

NA prime time it isn't that bad. It's JP Primetime (EST timezone) is when the conjection is horrid.

If its just the JP that are causing overpopulation then only they should be targeted.

If they just offered a gil reward for leaving I'm sure a lot of players would take it. They can find some off hand way to screw the people out of said gil after they've left the server.

If they intend to do that, they needn't bother with splitting Odin or forcing somebody to others servers. I'm pretty sure everybody is connected via overlapping linkshells.

Why is it people HAVE to be on that server to be happy? They've given tons of warnings and yet people don't want to move lol. If people are smart they'll move with their linkshells to somewhere they can just as successful, otherwise when they force people to move and you get stuck somewhere you don't want to be, you'll have to pay to move.

Don't come to asura if you enjoy Dynamis. It's already congested to hell, and the dynamis scheduler website of asura decided it would be totally awesome to use google docs to schedule dynamis (note : you can see all LS's and what time they're entering, but if you wanna see zones you have to manually click each one). Since this, a lot of people have just ignored the calendar completely and enter ontop of eachother without a care in the world (esp 24/7).

If you don't do dynamis , feel free to come!

i think the best solution is breaking odin up into different worlds

and then let people apply at will on which part they wanna go

so people still stay intact? and get away from rival LSs?

either way, you sure to lose some friends from other LSs that decided to go different ways(but hey u lose enemies too!)

In case the emigration campaign and the above measures have no effect on the congestion of the Odin world, measures such as forced transfers to other worlds or splitting the Odin world into a number of separate worlds may be considered.

The forced transfers have been mentioned other times that emigration was open, so don't panic.

I don't recall ever hearing about a server being split though...

They shouldn't be forced to split the server when there's obviously underpopulated servers[those which are on the list]. I hope if they do split the world or force the emigration that the people selected are completely random. Maybe they'd actually learn something then.
