MMM findings

Just won two MMM fishing runs. Went duo with another 100 fisher he has esubu I have Lu's (damned Liks!)

On my run I placed Lost and Found and Conditioning contract. We won with no issues. I got an Emperor fish and 2 sandfish for my prize.

My friend (Hi Krish!) went with a totally blank maze. It was a closer run as we have mobs being a pain hovering around us where ever we went. But we won. He Got a Red Terripan and two Shining Trout.

Rune #117 Salinity Shift
"The water of the fishing hole will be altered"

It's two squares and Water element.

Clearly this will let us go for saltwater fishies.

Things we learned:


It's clear that when a pond stops sparking there are no fish. Move to a new place.

You can turn in a Pugil if you get one, you can turn in a Crab ONLY after you have a good fish to turn in. A Slime will eat a good fish if you have one on you when you catch it.

Giant Carps were 450, but I think you can get more for larger ones.

The brothers are just as annoying as ever. And they treat their sister badly!

@@ so... I'm sad, I buy the M08, get all ready to go in and as me and my friend are zoning in I get black screen and booted to POL came back and can't enter x-x;

and my friend said that:
crayfish = 10 points
darkbass = 80
pipira = 250
black eel = 200
moat = 50
copper frog = 120
shining trout = 230

all pulled up with regular bait from goblin. He attempted minnow but caught a big fish that he lost.

He caught a leech at one point that ate three of his fish before disappearing. o: Can't wait to try again tomorrow @@

Good News: They added Colibri to the Bird Rune.
Good News: They do NOT reflect.

They appeared as 1st, 2nd, or 3rd group fairly commonly. Peryton and Cockatrice are still around, even with Tiny Warrior, though.

I was running to the last group having done Colibri and Giant Bats thinking, "Murres or Triple Bats, please not Perytons, please not Perytons....oh hi....Hypogryphs?" They're on the evasive side, but reasonably squishy.

So, Everbloom Hollow is now officially a Colibri camp. Now... i didn't run into Apkallu across 5 runs...but that doesn't mean it can't happen. As to whether they added gargoyles to demons rune, i'll leave to other adventurers.

Did voucher 08 today with friend; friend has Lu Shang and I used the MMM rental rod/minnow (which you get to keep even after exiting). Runes used were lost and found and Amnesiac's trial.

My friend was on a roll; we won with 3,000 to 0 before I knew it (it was crazy ~.~).

We picked the elvaan at the end, (sorry no pics): 18 marbles, 6x moat carps, Runes 055 (red mage) and 085 (fisherman) - which my friend has. forgot the description but it's something like "gives you more prowess at fishing while having the rune equipped."

CC chest (6CC): 54 marbles and a "Your fishing skill rises 0.2 points". My fishing skill is 11.

Did V08 using a mule's copy of my fishing maze. Goldagrick's generousity gave fishing support upon entry of the fishing area; no need to talk to an NPC for fishing support. Resonating Stillness on Tabula 03, LnF, Conditioning Contract as well.

77 skill on my main, used MMM fishing rod though i have an LS, used MMM Big Fishing Bait (stacks to 12). Got several large fishing going for about 400 points each. Won fairly quickly. !!! + Good feeling is a monster just as per normal fishing, so cancel those.

Did not get many marbles at all, 5ish, even with 6CC on mule. Mule with 0 skill got .2 skillup though after using Mithra NPC to catch the fish. 2 Sandfish and 1 Emperor Fish were in the chest.

Voucher 08 also works with rune 108 Conditioning Contract. The description on 108 when selected within V08 is "When combined with a particular rune, you may gain an added effect..."

Time to start testing to see what the other rune is! My top guesses would be 094 or 111


By the way, I did an exhaustive search of Chatnachoq. None of the new runes are purchased with marbles.

Just did V08, failed but a leech came out of a "don't know if you have the skill" message and ate up a ton of fish before I knew what was happening.

lv60-some fishing with lu, I used sinking minnow until the 15min mark where I switched to large MMM bait, seemed to work better. Lost with 1150, first 15min where wasted thanks to that leech.
