MMM findings

It's nothing special. A much better question is what are you looking to get out of MMM? Other than just having fun, are you:

A) Looking for XP
B) Looking for rare/exclusive/augmented items. If so, what items in particular?
C) A "completionist" who wants every rune and voucher just to collect them
etc

You know i'm not quite sure, mainly I was thinking of making one to use for some NM runs for possible items. Looking at the drops from Voucher 7 though i'm not sure how interested I am. The new voucher 09 looks like it has some potential.

I guess I'll just hang onto that rune for the meantime anyway.

Interesting... is this something that needs to be worked at to access, or can one jump right into it?

You definitely need to beat the first stage to get access to the next one, and the NM's are really tough (tougher than SM + M NM's from Liquidation Team in my opinion).

I'm not sure what's needed for progression though. Whether it's a set number of points on your MMM members card, or if you actually need to defeat the NM.

So far any attempt made by me and my friends has resulted in a wipe and despawn, so I can't offer much more than that.

The corse casts Memento Mori and then Meteor and has to be stunned. It uses Manafont and has En-doom during it. It also casts Death which has to be stunned. It spams Dispelga and Sleepga during 2hr.

The dragon isn't hard but it has a fuck ton of HP.

The gnole uses a near-instant TP move (forgetting name) that recovers a massive amount of HP, pretty similar to Benediction.

So I need to go through stage 1 and 2 before taking on the Gnole (I want Lunaris Claws)?

On stage 3, can you take on the Gnole without worrying about the Corse or Dragon?

I used insurance contract since the rewards seemed to be based on performance. That didn't help much since most of the NMs kick some serious ass during 2hr phases along with being far harder than anything in Voucher 07.

Id like to hear how the JP got so many drops and what exactly what they did to get the NMs low. I assume its something like a manaburn.

Joining a lil Late but anyone know if the new Augur's gear possibly comes from MMM curious to see if anyone found out the combination for the Possible new gear drops /shrug

Personally I don't think the Augur's gear comes from MMM. It looks a little too good to come from something this casual. The Arcane gear on the other hand seems sidegrade-ish so I'm not so surprised about that being in the loot pool. I've posted what the JP's have found so far, but then there's the curiosity that Cuteybaby posted (said Voucher 09 - drops Leste Jambiya, and I don't think anyone had got past stage 1 at that point).

One possibility is perhaps Lost and Found changes the loot pool. There's definitely something we're missing currently if that dagger is part of the pool.

One last thing is that the list on Downrightfiercels of new dats, also lists dats that were modified as well, and there was a good deal of Voucher 04 items modified. Its possible that Voucher has been changed and may now have armour drops too (- although I again I think it's unlikely to be of Augur quality).

This thread is so large and this is my first time posting. I think they should make an entire sub-forum for MMM then have topics inside of it for each persons rune style. (fishing, exp, crafting, NM etc.)

Anyways. I wanted to know how to get started on the new runes in the june 21st,2010 update. I hear you have to fight NMs and chip their HP down far enough before the time runs out to win a reward. Still not sure if you can even kill the NM. I wanted to know where i get the runes for these monsters and how I advance through the battles.

I want the lunaris Claws +26 DMG hand-to-hand and they drop from a gnole NM in MMM. How do I get this rune? I never really did MMM much but I got some runes and 01 and 07 voucher. I brought a copied voucher 09 from a guy named Urat but its a manaburn rune for blms as it has INT+ MP+ and pudding mobs. Assuming i brought the incorrect one.

To start this Voucher, all you need is the Voucher (09).

The other runes you put on give your party advantages, and how necessary they are to success is unclear. For example what you described before appears to give the party Amorph Killer, Int boost, and Manaboost.

You don't have to go in with a manaburn setup but the runes provide an advantage to one.

To get to the claws, you need to beat one of the NM's from stage 1, and then another NM from stage 2. Only then can you fight the Gnole for the claws.

this ^. Once I get to the gnole, do I just get to keep him or If I lose I gotta kill the others again.

I also brought a DD rune custom made by georgie and urat 500 gil.
This one has STR and HP boost to all party members as well as defense boost and I think vermin killer on a vermin rune. They both have runes that decrease exp loss when you die. I think i kinda understand these vouchers now. They don't affect the map you get like the other runes I was used to in the exp vouchers.

Last question. Whats the drop rate on the gnole NM? Can I get it (lunaris claws) to drop if I met the requirements of decreasing his HP very low but NOT killing the gnole.

We fought the Slug NM today until it faded into nothingness. Does this mean we killed it or just timed out? Also what is this MMM Member's card used for?

Edit: Sorry didn't mention it was MMM9. Fought the Flan one. We actually killed it (Gumdrop was defeated message showed up) and got Tern necklace and other trash drops.

Those should be labelled under 51 and post 51. You can easily handle SM+M once you get penta thrust unless you are using a bad setup. At 75 you switch to voucher 2 for merits.
