No one's clarified this yet who's beaten it. It would be nice to know exactly how the MMM Members card is involved in this. Is a win recorded automatically on your card, or do you need to trade the card to a Goblin?

There's still lack of information on this. Drop rate is still unclear until more people do this. Given the rate the JP's are finding the drops for each NM, it seems reasonable. The drops for each stage seem frequent too, but we need more data.
So far no one has posted that they've seen a drop pool if they don't defeat it (and the quote below suggests it too).

Edit: Sorry didn't mention it was MMM9. Fought the Flan one. We actually killed it (Gumdrop was defeated message showed up) and got Tern necklace and other trash drops.
What message did you get when it faded? (it definitely gives a message if you don't earn enough points)
Were any NPC's up after the Slug faded?
Were any NPC's up after the Flan died?
Did you get a loot pool when the Slug faded?

Can you check when you try next whether you need to trade the MMM Members card to unlock the next tier or if it's automatic?
Can you use the card on someone else's maze if you need trade the card to the Gob (and who's does the win get recorded on then)?
Does your win history get reset at any point?

If the Member's card is not recording wins, then what does trading it to the Gobs do when you have some points from previous wins (or survivals)?

I guess these questions are for anyone who's done this too.

When we fought the slug it was our first time. We recived 100xp, silver bullets and some horn. We used maze compass immediately so I'm not sure if NPCs were up or not. The 2nd time when we actually defeated the flan we got 1000xp, tern necklace and other trash drops. When the MMM card was traded to the gob my friend said he mentioned "writing what happened down" or "letting us pass."

Also the buffs you get for your C.C points apply to everyone in the party.

So I've never done MMM before (made a maze when it came out and found Toughs so I warped...). Do I need to do the marble mazes a bit to build a supply of those up, or are they just for side stuff? I guess if it matters I'd like to do some exp runs with possibly less than a full party, probably 75+.

Sorry for the MMM newbie question... but a while back I joined a JP group for MMM XP. I told them I didn't have a Maze Voucher, but they said it was "ok" and to just copy someone's maze.

When I did, I noticed that it had around 4000 copies... but the thing was, it was just a plain Maze Voucher 02, no other runes attached to it like all the other copied mazes I saw. And briefly skimming these threads, most of the XP mages suggest a certain number of runes to be added so we can get birds and stuff...

Yet the JPs were just perfectly fine with me using a blank ._. Aren't there fear of elementals or something?

So I wonder, can my empty ol' Maze Voucher 02 still be of use for XPing purposes? Or should I start farming for runes solo so I can be of use to my friends that want to MMM XP? And if so, what's a good setup for rune farming?

it's not blank you need to give it time to load

Yes and no. If the maze you wish to do is popular, it will be found on Duplidoc (exp/merits, marble farming, fishing, certain voucher 07 NMs, etc). Duplidoc gets wiped every time there is a maintenance, but popular mazes will be quickly reposted. Prior to this last update, Voucher 05 was the only maze that had "good" rewards and wasn't commonly found on Duplidoc (because the runes don't really affect the outcome of the reward, only how quickly you can clear and the marbles you get).

A good Voucher 9 setup will likely require several stat runes (500 marbles each), 70 series runes (most are less than 300), and probably 094 (500 marbles).

When you kill each tier NM, you trade the MMM card to the goblin after the fight and he records the data (Level 5 for killing the NM). Next time that person enters, they trade their card to Sadistiq and they are allowed to pop any tiered mob so long as they have killed at least one of the previous tiers on their card. You're more than welcome to spam Gnole given you've killed at least one T1 and a T2.

To get the good drops (weapons etc) you have to kill the NM. If you don't kill the NM, you'll get some trash crafting mats.

In order for Sadistiq to pop, you have to take the NM before 50% otherwise you'll get some generic message saying you didn't do well enough. Given you get the NM before 50% but timeout, the mob will depop and Sadistiq will appear so you can trade your card. You only get good drops if you kill the NM.

I haven't tested it out, but I believe you can't pop a higher NM for someone if the person who entered hasn't killed a T1.

I'm not sure that a nuking belt (+4 INT, +2 MAB) is worth pursuing anymore, not with the addition of the Cognition Belt (+7 INT). With a poor gear set, it's a 4~5 damage difference in favor of the Moblin Cest, while only a 1~4 damage difference with an ideal gear set (using HQ staves, didn't do the math with Magians). That's looking at only Tier IV/V spells (assuming the base/modifiers I used for T5s are correct), not AMII.

which monster is the easiest? we tried 2 blood wepon with lvl 80 drk and i used hundred fists twice on the spider NM vermin, and he lives and after fanatics drink wore we got owned 3 hits from 3200 HP to 0. didnt qualify in dmg and Nm depopped. Its hard to find a perfect setup like with a rdm or brd cause noone does MMM except JP and JP do exp only it seems.

One advantage of the MMM belt is that its all jobs, not sure if any others could really benefit from it though (NIN nuker maybe?)

You can either use the NPC Duplidoc and use pre-made mazes created by other players or look into doing Voucher 06 for marbles to build up your own collection of runes. Voucher 06 involves a minigame of finding 3 treasure chests while avoiding true sight monsters.

If you're purely interested in EXP runs, Duplidoc will almost always have an EXP maze up for use.

The most common EXP mazes will be something along the lines of:

    Pre-75

    Aquan/Bird - 01, 03
    Supreme Might - 18
    Conditioning Contract - 108
    Trial by Numbers - 102
    Tiny Warrior - 14
    Sustinence Contract - 109

    75 and beyond

    Bird/Demon - 03, 10
    Might - 17
    Supreme Might - 18
    Conditioning - 108
    Trial by Numbers - 102
    Tiny Warrior - 14
    Sustinence Contract - 109

This is usually under Voucher 01 - MMM Sanitation Alpha. Manaburn mazes will usually stick to Aquans but maintain the same scheme of runes and run Alpha or Beta.

EXP mazes are composed of 3 sets of VT-IT mobs so if you want to do EXP with less than a party you might want to just use might-only mazes.

Voucher 09 Revitalization Team (NM Bashing!)

I hope nobody minds but the HUGE MMM thread, whilst fantastic is really a pain to wade through and even searching for posts gives you a lot to go through.

Voucher 09 - buy from Chatnachoq from 100 marbles.

    From the announcement:

Maze Voucher 09: MMM Revitalization Team

Mazes created with the new Revitalization Team voucher will pit players against powerful notorious monsters, with the goal of dealing as much damage as possible within the fifteen-minute time limit. Even if unsuccessful in slaying their foe, players will be eligible for rewards based upon its remaining hit points. Upon creating your first Revitalization Team maze, the maze master Sadistiq will present you with the "MMM Members' Card" item. Trade this item to Sadistiq after each battle and he will record your best scores, allowing you to unlock more foes as your rank increases.

To get good drops, you have to defeat the NM however taking the NM down to under 50% will allow you to gain credit in some way which is recorded on your MMM card.

You can buy temp items with cave conservation points from Sadistiq and use them to help during the fight. The buffs from these are party wide?

You gain xp and synth mats if you take the mob under 50% but the decent item drops only come if you kill the NM?

NMs can fade into nothingness - is this time related?

There is a tiered system, defeating an NM gains you access to others.

I'll update this post if it's useful.

    Gumdrop

    -Uses En-blind on melee attacks.
    -Uses Chainspell at some point.
-Frequents Xenoglossia (allows a spell to instacast once)
-Uses all t4, t3 -ga spells.

    Slug

-2 "modes": normal and meikyo shisui modes.
-Resistant to magical damage normally, physical damage seems normal.
-Uses all -ooze attacks except the gear strip normally.
-During Meikyo Shisui becomes weak to magic and absorbs physical attacks.
-Will use the gear strip ooze attack during 2hr and cling to the person with hate regening in the process.
    -En-slow on melee attacks?

    Diremite

    -En-poison on melee attacks.
    -Uses all Diremite TP moves.
    -Uses Hundred Fists.
-Suceptible to Gravity. Builds resistance over time.

Mobs depop after either full-wiping or 15mins after first engaging (it could be from when the gob spawns it). The maze pearl rune allows for a status report on the NMs HP without using infobar.

Since the 9 hour maintenence on 7/7 can there still be a problem entering the MMM battlefield? particularly the voucher01 area, especially during JP prime time, or has that finally been resolved?

No that they specified that that was what they were addressing, but one would hope they noticed our displeasure about that as been mentioned numerous times on BG forums, and -9- hour maintenance had to have been for *some* purpose.
