    When I tried to make the item it told me you still need xxx more of yyy. I think the maze pearl is also supposed to tell you, but as we all know, that is glitched.

    no... i'm saying people should stop duoing and trioing stuff when taking along others does not affect your reward at all (unlike, say, assaults)

    On the note of MMM, we tried Materialization Team last night, I entered us, I have 100 LC + various subcrafts, but our problem was the Idol doesn't tell you what ingredients you need.
    First synth was a leather of some kind, needed a bunch of mats, which it didn't tell me, we just collected everything we could until I was able to synth it. Then the goblin asked for a pair of Maze Monger boots, no idea what was necessary, and the idol gave me the option of making like 10 different things, had no clue which was needed for the boots, and failed one of the synths, we ended up timing out. Does the idol tell anyone else what you need? For me it just said "You lack the materials to synthesize that item." until we had the right mats and then it would let me make something. The fact that it doesn't tell you what you need makes it extremely hard. With no clue what the boots need to synth, I don't know which of the other 8-10 items to craft as a pre-craft item to make them. Seems pretty lame, I think I'll stick to doing the killing ones lol.
    When you click on the idol, you have an list of things you can make. Click on the thing you were told to make. Idol says "Gtfo, you don't have enough XX XXX XXX XX XX".... that tells you what you need.

    Second item, if opens up a list of many items. Ideally you remember what you were told to make... rinse repeat.

    The way I see the optimal strategy for Materialization (will eb fine tuning it as i am able to)

    4+ pt members.
    Camp at the idol; 2 pt members (at least 1 dd)
    1 HELM roamer
    1 Puller

    Your puller grabs mobs from the big room (south?) to bring to the fabrication idol. The people camping at the idol should include your primary synther. After kill, puller immediately heads out, while the pt members in camp shuttle the items from the ??? to the moblin. Rinse repeat.

    The HELM roamer wanders the other rooms grabbing all the helm points... afaik from exploring, mobs don't spawn in the other rooms (this may not hold true). Return when you have needed/rare items, or when you've gotten pretty much everything. Rinse repeat.

    For the puller, it might not be bad to pull 2 mobs at once; a Bst is probably really good for this role. Charm a mob, attack another mob. After you kill the hostile, uncharm/leave the pet... kill it. Drops should not be affected because it's not dropped on death... it's the ??? that gives items (this needs testing; I have a bst friend to test with luckily).

    Roles are going to vary depending on who has what synthing and jobs. If going with 3 (ugh; seriously, just invite a few others, guarantee your win at no cost), then i'd say just puller, helm, and camper.

    With 5 or 6 pt members, add to the puller or helm groups depending on the materials you need... For example, I needed to make a warp ingot as part of Monger pie. It didn't seem like any of the mobs dropped the nuggets needed, so if I had others with me, would have assigned to HELM/mining.

    Duoing is probably still a good chance of winning, but time will be tight. Soloing is possible, but will depend in large part on luck in getting the materials you need quickly... it's much harder to cut down on the time spent running around when it's just you.

    Can you tell me what Runes you had Equipped on the voucher? Because when we did it, all the Idol told me was "You do not have the necessary materials to synth that item" it did NOT tell me what we still needed.

    do you have the basic 107/109 runes? It's supposed to give guidance and something and some other "help" shit to go with the maze.

    I don't think I had 107 / 109 equipped at the time we did it, I have them on there now, will let you know as we're about to go do another run of it.

    Ok yeah, need those runes, or at least the pearl one I think on. Did it again, moblin asked for same stuff:

    Square of Bristly Hard leather for #1, then Maze Monger Boots for #2, required 3 bristly leathers + 1 warped ingot. Succeeded in about 18 mins with 5 people, 31 marbles + the following drops :

    Rune 017
    Windurstian Tea Leaves
    Sheepskin

    Possible new way to obtain hides? Maybe Cerberus Hide etc could come from this, who knows lol. Thanks for the advice.

    Used all 5 "Trial" type runes with a low lv person in the party. Gained 42 Marbles from it.

    today was my 2nd run with voucher 07 and rune 006 to spawn Noxious Nellie a spider. No drop yet on the sword or anything else for the matter but i have 2 mules i'm getting points for to build the same maze and hopefuly be able to spam it 3-4 times a day. Hoping to bug a thf in my ls to come along and see if th helps. I really hope i'm not getting my hopes up for nuthing and its just a shitty droprate(now that i think about it that doesn't sound to great either).

    Yesterday my maze was:

    Voucher 01
    Dragon
    Supreme Might
    Trial by Velocity
    Trial by Budget
    Trial by Silence
    Earned 36 marbles.

    Today, I've added the following two runes:
    Trial by Numbers
    Amnesiac's Trial
    Expecting around 43~44 marbles.

    This could be a very good farming setup, I'm still trying to find more ways to increase it though.

    I also found that the rune class when you're talking to the moblin represents the number of squares the rune will occupy on the voucher. And my group theorizes that runes are actually a percentage increase rather than a flat number increase, so if you more people could post their results so I can test this, that would be great. More testing is needed, but so far we believe the runes are:

    Supreme Might (+30%)
    Trial by Budget (+50%)
    Trial by Velocity (+30%)
    Trial by Silence (+30%)
    Amnesiac's Trial (+25%)

    Failed crafting......again -_-. I'm veteran in alchemy so the runs are always asking for the same shit and I logged down which mobs to kill. We had I think 8 mins left after the 2/3s of the final item synth and lo and behold... the last materials we need to make the final sub component didn't spawn. It was supposed to be peistes and lizards but all that spawned were crawlers spiders slugs krakens and crabs and I killed the spiders/crawler, and slugs just to make sure it didn't drop the synth materials.

    The only way to get them was from harvesting and we used all the harvesting points and none repopped into time. Fucking....amazingly retarded, shoulda won but no fucking harvesting point to get mats from -_-.

    We did a couple of bosses last night, elementals that corresponded to the Vanadiel day. On mine, I combined the NM rune with a White Magic rune, and the result was a fire elemental that seemed to spam Enfire and Blaze Spikes more than normal. It still used Firaga a couple of times though.

    We won both times with 4 - NIN DNC MNK BRD. First run, our MNK accidentally came with a WHM sub and we still won, the elementals aren't really hard at all.

    I've created a spreadsheet that I'm working on to keep track of marble rewards so I can analyze how each rune affects your reward. I've read through this data and recorded anything that seemed credible, but if anyone reads this before posting their results, I'd like to know your voucher, tabula, list of all runes, and marbles received when you win!

    In response to whoever recommended a BST for Voucher 04, I doubt the BST could charm the mobs since they check as NMs...feel free to try it though

    Did an 04 voucher with Swift Synthesis, Sure Synthesis, Trial by Budget, Guidance Contract, and Sustenance Contract (95, 96, 101, 106, 109) and got 38 marbles.

    maze M1, V1, with runes: 10, 13, 17, 100, 102, 106, 109 gave us VT/IT demons (tarus, imps, ahrimans), xp band wore about two thirds of way through, netted me around 7500xp total (includes the final chest xp reward). Pretty good =). 20 marbles too. Basically the trial by numbers and supreme might had a hand in that so i can probably ditch the other runes to try and make a better marble set up, maybe just the trial by runes, rest of the choices seem limited.

    Anyone got Lost and Found yet?

    Damn mysterious rune is bugging crap outta me, but our static is getting all members the 5 trial runes and supreme might runes so we can get 300 marbles each in a single run...

    Is anyone esle extremly curious as to what the "Effects monster's _____ in curious/interesting ways..." runes do?

    So, a member in my group spent 500 marbles on Strength today. We tested it in Voucher 01, and were awarded with 16 marbles instead of 15! YES! That was so worth it!

    Although, the rune is fire based, so tomorrow we will get him Tabula 02 and have him place it on the fire square and see if anything changes.
