Exactly. Lol, I wish I could get 300 a run XD
I think altered aggresion or conspicious behavior may make the monsters flee you?
To the group that spent 500, it probably would've have been best to buy the 5 trial runes, like I previously stated.
I have a few ideas for some really sweet runs to pose as "tests" or "challenges" to groups once we can sell our tabula plates or whatever.
#1 Terrifying Turnips:
Rune 1: Plantoids
Rune 2: Tiny Warriors (so now it almost gaurentees mandies)
Rune 3: Trial by Numbers (LOTS of mandies alreayd, now go ahead and double it or so XD)
Rune 4: The multi attack one on its element to give double and triple attack
Rune 5: Supreme might, let's make em all incredibly tough!
Rune 6: Monk (if the maze monger mandies aren't already)
And rune 7: Attack speed boost, As if 5-6 attacks per roudn wern't enough, lets haste em all! :D
so basically you are given a giant zerg rush of mandies that will charge your group, or link like hell, the moment you walk in, spam you with their little doinks, until you drop to the ground screaming for your mommy!
#2: Idonthaveanameforityet
Rune 1: Amorphs
Rune 2: Trial by silence (Thats right, no magics fer joo!)
Rune 4: Protection (enhanced def)
Rune 5: Altered Defense (Moar defense boost)
Rune 6: Hardiness (Even Moar defense!)
Rune 7: Vitality (A little bit over the top now, wtf?)
Rune 8: Supreme Might
Rune 9: Stillness (lurking foes?)
So basically you get a handful of slimes/hecteyes that lurk around. At first they seem weak, but you realize your in trouble when you realize your crits are doing 5 points of damage...
And you don't have magic. Oh shi-!
And finally, my worst. Just try and beat it...
#3 Absalute Sin
Voucher 07 this time for boss.
#1 Elemental.
#2 Darkness on a dark icon. Now this borderline guarentees the dark elemental boss.
#3 Insurance contract: (You're gonna need it)
#4 Volubility, enhanced cast speed
#5 Force of will, enhanced magic effectivness
#6 Mysticism, massive mana pool
#7 Mind
#9: Supreme might
#8 Sustanence Contract (if i can fit it)
The result is one helluva badass, lv 80 HNM dark elemental that spams every spell it can on you guys. At least you won't lose exp when you wipe :D
Tell me what you guys think, and I'd love to see some of your ideas!
#3 is Yensho, guys.
Supreme might ist he one to get for the Kill All Vouchers. Just did another round today and got close to 2K in XP at the end not including the XP during the fights.
I have trial by numbers. All it does is add an extra spawn group.
So in elmination, rather than 14-16 mobs, we had 22... they are still evenly spaced out (you also get an extra Forcer)
Hardiness seems to be paired with mysticism, so I would assume it increases HP rather than Def (don't know personally)
If altered aggression makes them run away... hmmm I would have thought it might change the method of aggro... by the same token, I would think that altered defense changes weakness to damage type/element rather than boosting defense, strictly speaking... If anyone has those, be nice to know for sure =)
I tried an elemental NM with Altered aggression and it seemed a LOT harder for anyone too keep hate of any kind. A Curing Waltz II would pull hate right after a Provoke, SCH was pulling hate on a CureII. Made the fight quite a bitch honestly.
Did anyone ever do a complete MOB Dat thing of Evebloom and get out all the Fancy NM names we could maybe meet in future?
I got the lost and found rune yesterday, once I get one of the family runes today I'll be testing it out. I was able to place lost and found In both the vouchers I have (01 and 07). I have a theory that those vs "family" crit rate +7% weapons might drop is you do the nm one with lost and found and the corresponding family, like ermine's tail would drop with lost a d found and lizard nm. Lost and found is shaped like a + by the way, 5 blocks T.T
Just did tabula 01 voucher 01 runes 17 (Supreme might), 100 (Trial by velocity), 101 (Trial by budget), 102 (Trial by numbers), 103 (Amnesiac's trial), 104 (trial by silence) 45 marbles total.
My theory on the "family" weapons is that they are purchased from marbles after you've obtained a certain title. I think they might be set up so you can acquire them before fighting the corresponding NM, so that they can be used to help your group defeat that NM.
From JP Wiki:
Spoiler: show
Seems to only be elementals, beasts, lizards, vermin, and plantoids. Some families are guesses by me based on mythology/Google.
Everbloom Dat doesnt have anything. In fact, the mob listing goes against everything else we've learned in FFXI;;
ROM\216\55 = NM's
ROM\216\50+51 = Maze Lurkers
There may be more related files, but as I said, this is very different from the standard "lets put every mob that exists in an area in that areas dat file".
Shadow Dragon's link. LOL.
Came up with an interesting theory. For the Maze Voucher 04 runs I have alchemy and he has smithing over 96. Both objectives have been alchemy & smithing based synths.
Shadow Dragons are FUCKING TERRIBLE UGH
Also Chigoes link I'm pretty sure and its horrible
Yes i found that out the hard way myself...
I call this Maze: Dungeons And Dragons: I'MA RAPE YOU
Supreme Might
Dragons
Demons
Trial By Velocity
Trial By Budget
1st round: Imps ~not a prob. Just took em down meripo style.
2nd Round: Ahrimans ~Slightly annoying because of TP moves but not a problem.
3rd Round: ShadowDragons ~...lol we pulled 1 and got 4 on our asses. Rapega. Didn't recover from that.
I did do this same exact setup again the next day but with a lvl 1. Got 34 marbles out of it![]()
Do the dragons do Body Slam?
Emergency maintenence on lower jeuno as we speak. Might be changes to 3M.
How about we follow the theory of what the titles do? The possibility that they may even allow access of weapons via Marbles.
Is anyone able to dig for that info in the goblins convo log? @_@
