It's possible that the Gnole/Mamool Ja/Antican/Lycopium-whatever drops from these guys too. Beast, Lizard, Vermin, and Plantoid.

Entirely possible, I just didn't want to quite make that much of an assumption. The weapons are nigh-guaranteed however

Used runes 4, 13, 17, 40, 41, 43, and 94 on a voucher 07 with tabula 01. Got 9 marbles and 200 exp, fought a dhalmel, no drop at all. These are beast, great warrior, supreme might, altered defense, divine magic, enhancing magic, and lost and found. Does altered defense make it easier? I was under the impression that the baseline was 10 marbles, and supreme might increased it.

It should, Supreme Might and the two magic runes should have increased it by at least 4, meaning altered defense must have lowered it by at least 5.

Benny is spot on correct, and I can provide evidence that no screenshot can ever provide: It was the one time I wasn't able to go with him. We normally go every single day together but just once, I figured I could enjoy some awesome Exp I was getting. And oh, what do you know, Ermine's Tail dropped ..

We did some mazes later, and the dude who got it was idling with it equipped. Just another average day in ffxi for me : D

Lost and Found lowers marbles earned for the potential of more drops.

It doesn't lower marbles, I tried it just now. Got the same amount of marbles I've got before without it. At least on Voucher 1.

If it follows the pattern of Ermine Tail dropping from a beast boss, Koggelmander would drop from a lizard boss. Ermine's Tail gives Lizard Killer and beasts intimidate lizards. Koggelmander has Vermin Killer and lizards intimidate vermin.

I just got my Lost and Found rune tonight, so I'll start spamming Voucher 07 with Lizard Rune now. However, I only have Tabula M01 and not much else.

(Conspicous Behavior, Enfeebling Magic, Dark Magic, Lizard and Sustenance Contract are the only other runes in there- all I have, I could only fit one more 1x2 rune in there anyhow)

On the other hand there's 2 weapons per killer effect, so Great Warrior could possible make it the one it's strong against, and tiny warrior makes it drop the one it's weak against.

Oh shit you're right, I was reading the weapons listing and got that mixed up with another weapon.

Appearance-wise, some of them have a unique model -- Ermine's Tail is a green-hilted jambiya that reminds me of paladium dagger, Fortreuse (or whatever, I forget) is a kind of adaman-style Amood. Zaide (polearm) is a mezraq with an ivory handle and a gold blade. I think that was all of the new weapon models, except Dabo and the bell... The others you should be able to find the icon for (maybe on ffxiah or otherwiki) and match pretty closely.
