I have demon and it wont plug in to bosskill voucher. So boss runs seem currently restricted mostly to the species that are involved with the weapons. I kind of wonder if there is an eventual higher purpose to the non applicable runes... Or if they're there just to be cool.

Thanks Dash, I should have thought to do that. I'll futz around with the vouchers/tabulae when I get home to see if I can figure anything out but it sounds like you already tested it.

SE seems so fond of their imp NMs, I can't help but think they must have included them somewhere, plus the runes are hoardbox-only. Maybe they're planning to put them in later?

If there's an X-factor aside from Lost and Found, I'm more inclined to think it's the M03 Tabula... but my honest guess is: (surprise) shitty drop rate. My group has 3 people now who can do a useful NM run each day, so hopefully we'll have more data soon. We did a supreme might tiger BLM yesterday who very nearly humbled our solid PT. Every time a DD pulled hate, they died to a 2000 damage TP move... no drop (of course).

Kaylia, if you do not equip either one of : Vermin / Lizard / Beast / Plantoid , you will always get an elemental according to day of the week for Liquidation. Liquidation's marbles blow ass so you're not doing that for the points. Best if you're doing liquidation with a strong LS party or something is to add the trial by budget to counter lost and found's penalty (dunno who said it doesn't have a penalty , but my tabula always comes out negative than expected with it equipped).

Voucher 01 can be turned into a marble rune giving you 45 marbles @ lvl1. All you have to do is get every single penalty and stick them on your tabula, that's what my LS has been doing so far. It takes a ton of runes to start it up , but after it's done then it's easy rune farming (45 vs15 hi!).

I think we do : Amnesia/Silence/Trial by Budget/Extra Monsters/Supreme Might, something like that. I haven't got this one to 45 marbles yet as I've been focusing on making my boss tabula and getting lost and found.

I just mean that it is inherently easier to get marbles on Voucher 04 without a mass of runes. It would be nigh impossible, I think to plug all of those onto a Voucher 04 and win however >_>

It's also much easier to get exp from Voucher 01 than any other

Keeping track of Conspicuous Behaviour runs; today the mob favoured single target debuffs, including Stun and Absorb-TP. However, it opened with Stun -> Ripper Fang and the WS'd pretty often from there on out. No drop again, but ah-well!

After today's runs this leaves me with simply Great Warrior, Might, and Supreme Might to get. However, I have to take out my Behaviour rune to match his set-up exactly. (Tabula 03 + L&F is terrible, but it enhances both black magics and great warrior)

Would it matter the order that you place the runes for a boss voucher hoping for a weapon drop? I have my affinity based runes on the element, just wasn't sure about the rest.

people keep saying that voucher 01 with all the trials is best for marbles. Have you guys tried putting all the tirals into voucher 04 > bring a level 1 to cap mobs > check marble return?

oh, btw im very happy, i recently recieved Sure Synthesis to go with my Swift synthesis. also 100 marbles away from lost and found.

Can't bring a lvl 1 to cap mobs in Voucher 4. They are adjusted to highest lvl in the party.

Technically two at max. The original tabula can be dropped and bought back for 100 gil. You lose no runes - however - because as Rocl pointed out they go into a separate pouch.

Question on the elemental Tabula spots: They seem rather wasted to me. Both advanced tabula cost 100 marbles, yet not many of the actual runes we can buy or see (without lost and found) have a definitive element as far as I can see. The 100 marble price tag for something so complex seems very antithesis to the simplistic nature of MMM. I would imagine they have a simpler use, such as covering an element on the tabula according to the actual day. Or perhaps not covering more than one element. At the moment I see no benefit (marble or drop or otherwise) to getting those tabula aside from solving different tetris puzzles. (harhar)

I'm not saying such runes like Increased Dexterity on lightningsday has no effect, but perhaps it has multiple uses - anyone else have plausible theories or decent evidence on it?

I've done 5 runs with lost&found rune + voucher 07 + lizard family, nothing ever dropped not even a rune from the chest. Though only the last 2 runs were with giant warrior rune and only the last one had supreme might set.

With lizard rune + V07 the nm is a raptor, moderate attack and defense but does have a lot of evasion (this was without supreme might).
Adding giant warrior to that spawns a bugard nm which is much easier to deal with though it takes some time to kill due to high defense (and possibly magic resistance, we got a couple of finales and most light skillchains resisted but didn't really try to nuke it down).
Enabling some magic with those nms can make them much easier, with enhanching magic and healing magic runes set the bugard was spending most of the time reapplying buffs and erasing debuffs and didn't attack much, I think our pld/nin didn't get hit once in the whole fight.

Also, a question for people with giant warrior rune, which element is it? I bought tabula 02 thinking it was wind element (it looks pale green to me :\ ) but didn't glow like other elemental runes when set on the corresponding element, so I'm guessing it's something else? Possibly earth element? If anyone tried to set it on the right element, in which way exactly is it enhanched? I'm thinking it possibly changes the race of the nm to something else (dunno, wivres for lizards?).

It seems to have one, it's a different color from the other standard runes. Going to try myself in a couple of minutes if M03 got the right element on.
Edit: yup, I can confirm it too, it's earth. Tried another run with M03, the nm was still a bugard and I couldn't notice anything different from the previous fights, had to leave out supreme might as we attempted to duo it rdm + blu.
Succeded too, 7 marbles 200 exp and an empty chest as usual.

Great Warrior is 100% earth, it resonates on my earth panel on M03.

Interesting fact: We had someone d/c mid-run today, and come back a few mobs before the chest, he got a good 1200 exp less than we did.

Does anyone know exactly what influences the amount of exp in the chest exactly?

If it was an all enemies I'd think that maybe it got based around the number of mobs he was actually there to see die.
