That's interesting, I get a raptor every time without either of those runes.
Ah, I was unclear about Stillness and Motion. So you still need great/tiny warrior in the tabula, but adding stillness/motion allows for 2 different types of mobs from that family? Interesting. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
I get raptor, too, as default. Are you sure you got Lizard without Great/Tiny/Motion/Stillness? Happy new years btw everyone.
Is there even a point in stacking Might + Supreme Might rune? Wouldn't it just chose randomly between the 2 effects, like when stacking family runes? Should be easy to test in a V01 run, either check marbles reward or (better) check the level of the enemies with the lowest character over a couple of runs with 17, 18, 17+18 rune combinations.
Not that is that much of a big deal blowing another 300 (?) marbles on a rune at this point, but if the effect is chosen randomly between Might/Supreme Might and the item is set to drop only under Supreme Might condition, placing both on your tabula would actually lower the chances to get the item to drop.
I wonder if beast + great warrior + motion would produce a gnole for that necklace.
For those without Conspicuous Behaviour, does your monster TP very often? I don't know if 18 WS is normal for just a SAM and MNK hitting it. Trying to figure out what it does exactly.
It definitely cast a lot more interesting spells with the addition of the Great Warrior rune, the Raptor never did Dread Spikes or Diaga 3- certain mobs cast certain spells I suppose?
I don't understand. Suiram asked for Lizard without tiny gave regular Lizard.
So:
Great Warrior = Bugard
Tiny Warrior = Lizard
Stilness = Eft
Motion = Raptor?
Then what does that say for "default" Perhaps it's random? Even so that's three raptors in a row for me![]()
Lizard without any size rune should always give you raptor.
Lizard with great warrior rune should always give you bugard.
It's a weird combination indeed.
My "default" was raptor too. M01, 05 (lizard), 17 (Supreme might), 40 (altered defense), 45 (elemental magic), 94 (lost and found), 100 (Trial by velocity), 101 (Trial by budget). I stuck in the trials after our first run with a full pt and the nm was pretty easy cept when I got raptor for our run; bitch one shot the pld with something and then proceeded to one shot me with razor fang or some shit for 15xx lol, still won but it was nuts -o-.
I think in my earlier post, or in my reading of the above posts, there is confusion in the use of the word "Lizard" whether meaning the rune or the mob type.
I was saying that using Lizard rune without using any of the "populated" runes has always given raptor mob as default. I think I misunderstood VZX's earlier post as saying he got Lizard (like Hill Lizard mob) as a default Lizard mob instead of raptor, but based on his later post I guess not?
Edit: I see now, the original question was what mob spawns with Tiny Warrior + ____ rune. Sorry for the confusion, I misunderstood and was speaking about the mob without any of those 4 set.
Now I'm not sure how to feel. Either pleased these items don't come from some douchey time spawned NM, or annoyed I'll have to pull proverbial teeth just to get people to do this with me.
Well im glad that at least Moblin Maze Mongers has some decent rewards.
It just may escape the obscurity of Pankration and Brenner..... for now.
Tried Lizard with M02:
- Tiny Warrior (wind) and Healing Magic (light) were put on proper block
- Lost and found, Supreme Might
Boss = Kendi
200 exp, 8 marbles, no drop
I'm going to try Beast + Great Warrior + Motion on a M02 tabula using motion and enhancing magic as the ones covering the elemental slots. I'll let you know how it goes later tonight.
I know I've missed this somewhere, but I was looking on wiki and I see Koggelmander has been confirmed to drop on Voucher 07 with Maze Rune 94 and 108. What is 108 and where does it drop?
108 is a rune that somehow effects treasure chests it seems. It's found on a normal run using lost and found to add it to possible loot pool. I'm really curious to see what exactly this thing does.
Normal one as in V01 ?
