Oh one last note for people about to test out their mazes... Don't underestimate the mob and make sure you bring solid DDs. Just lost a run at 1%. Not the best idea in the world to invite random people on your friends list to check it out.

Big update coming finally in a bit. Did another Great Warrior + Motion Tanihwa (same as first one that dropped Zonure) and got Zonure and a THF job rune (grats to Nauq on rune and Azmodeous on club). Right after we did Bananas' daily farming run and got 108. Thank you for Conditioning Contract Nannas, initial tests to come tomorrow
Just thought people should know if it hasn't been posted already, me and a friend of mine went in with a Dragon Rune on the maze, so he could learn Radiant Breath, the dragons used the move and he learned the spell, so yay for easy BLU learning
Well of course I'll be trying on 07 voucher. I have a few theories already but I need to test them. My main guess is that 108 is what unlocks Gear drops like 094 (lost and found) unlocks weapon drops. I have a few reasons for believing this. For one, the only two pieces that exist right that that are 5 bricks and shaped like a "+" are 094 and 108. For another, the description of the rune is quite intriquing: "Opening treasure chests might have an unexpected effect...". My only real question in my head is if for a boss run tomorrow i should REPLACE lost and found with conditioning contract or if I should put them both in the maze. If anyone wants to give theories or ideas I'm more than willing to try new things out.
KK as promised here's my big update.
Over the last couple of days did a bunch of different ones to try new things. Base runes in every set were always Might, Supreme Might, and Lost and Found. Btw, if you're wondering, yes I do have all magic runes but I tend to favor putting Enhancing and Dark into my mazes because they usually have the least AoE's.

Purushamriga
(Tabula M03, Beast, Great Warrior, Stillness (on Water), Enhancing Magic, Dark Magic (on Dark), Might, Supreme Might, Lost and Found)
Setup was PLD/NIN, WAR/NIN, WAR/NIN, BLM/WHM, BLM/WHM, RDM/WHM. Dhalmel with incredibly high attack speed. Does regular Dhalmel JA's (i.e. silence so bring echoes). What really sucks about this guy is Healing Breeze. We saw it go any where from 4k to 8k at some points in the fight.

But we did manage to get a stun off that stopped it from getting Healing Breeze off.

For our efforts we got zilch, but a nice screenshot of a dead giraffe:

Chichevache
(Tabula M02, Beast, Great Warrior, Motion (on Fire), Enhancing Magic, Dark Magic, Might, Supreme Might, Lost and Found)
This fight was a heck of a lot more manageable than the other day since no on D/C'ed. Still is incredibly resistant to nukes without ES. Have your melees bring Sushi; hitting this thing sucks. Lowing is a move that causes virus effect. Has a hate reset move which can be very annoying. A pretty standard fight overall if you can keep hate in one place long enough.
Once again no drops, but another screenshot:

Sparky Sam
(Tabula M03, Beast, Tiny Warrior, Stillness (on Water), Enhancing Magic, Dark Magic (on Dark), Might, Supreme Might, Lost and Found)
A wascly little wabbit. He wasn't that hard overall. Only thing that really sucked about him was his high attack speed (which Slow II took care of nicely), and his move "Whirl Claws" which can be a party wiper. He used this right as we went in with full buffs and took all of our mages to red HP. He ate melee damage and nukes very well with little to no resists.

We killed it, but ONCE AGAIN only a screenshot:

Tanihwa
(Tabula M03, Lizard, Great Warrior, Motion, Dark Magic, Enfeebling Magic, Might, Supreme Might, Lost and Found)
Nauq finally finished his boss runes so we decided to do another Tanihwa from it. His basic setup was the same as mine except he didn't have Enhancing Magic so went for Enfeebling. Overall this is is a pretty big mistake. He was spamming enfeebling magic, GA's and all. It was definitely more difficult than our easy prety Tanihwa, but still not very hard at all. Once again melees and nukes were super effective.
I don't know whether to call it a blessing, or a curse, but we got our second MMM drop ever today, another Zonure :/ as well as a THF job rune.

More info to come. We farmed me a Rune 108 Conditioning Contract so I plan on testing that tomorrow in a boss (I'm thinking either Tanihwa or a Beast since I'm mainly after Mamool Ja Earring and Gnole Torque).
No, you are completely right that this would be a server side impact only; it's just that we've been told "PS2 Limitations" for so many years, some people have given up hope. I mean look at Yvonne's signature. It really doesn't matter what the issue is, it has just become a default SE blanket statement just like "Working as intended" is.
I really don't care what it says. POIDH. It can say whatever it wants, but i've already seen so many boss runs that I/others have done to disbelieve their claims.
Does tiny warrior make anything drop? I got it for my M02 rune and havn't had any luck so far.
Tiny warrior only seems to affect what mob pops. For instance Tiny Warrior + Beast would be a rabbit instead of Dhalmel or Buffalo.
some more things i have noticed about crafting skillups in Voucher 07. Dont know if anyone really cares, but ill post anyhow lol. For completeness sake, and to help people who are interested in Voucher 04 from combing through 23 pages, ill post all my observations about how to and how skillups occur in one post.
1) need a craft rune in your tabula, the runes that read Woodsman will give leather skillup. The rune that reads something like master chef, will give cooking skillups.
2) You can change what crafts you will make, and therefore what skill ups you will recieve by placing a craft rune (like the ones i mentioned in note #1) into your tabula. Your recipies offered are defaulted to the tabula holders main craft. But, you can change the default as i just described.
3) skillups only occur durring group synths, i have yet to see a skillup while solo synthing
4) the entire group of people involved in the synth does not get skillups, well chance of it are very small.
5) multiple people can recieve skillups on the same group synth.
6) you do not need to have the entire party party gather together on a group synth to gain skillups. But, the possibility of a skill up is limited to those involved in the group synth. We have had members gain skill ups with a group synth that had only 3/6 people involved. But, i do not believe that having less people involved in a synth will increase your chances of gaining a skillup in any way at all. I just put this here to let you know that you do not need all 6 people at the idol to have people gain skill ups. People who are at 60 skill might as well go out farming more materials. As they are not needed to unlock the possibility of gaining skill ups.
7) it is possible to recieve .2 skillups on a successful group synth.
8) as of yet we have not seen any skillups on a failed synth.
9) both person who recieves skillups, and the number of people who recieve skillups, on a synth seems to be random. I used to think that only the person with the lowest skill level received the skillups. But, that theory was proven wrong last night when a person with 0 cooking and a person with 1 cooking both players recieved a skillup on the same synth.
10) The chances of gaining a skillup SEEM to be less likely with players that have a crafting skill closer to 60 (but still below) than the crafters who have skill closer to 0. This leads me to believe that the chances for each invidual player to recieve a skill up are calculated independantly from others in the group. It also leads me to believe that the chances of recieving a skill up follows a similar pattern to if you were to buy materials and synth an item outside of MMM.
11) Every group synthesis can yeild skillups. Every one of them. Provided that you have the appropriate craft rune in your tabula.
12) with regards to Rune 94. On completion, we have had one of our players recieve 2 craft rune drops since he put Rune 94 in his tabula. We have not had any crafting runes drop without rune 94.
13) Guidance contract can drop from Voucher 04 with a Lost and Found Rune.
I'll be pretty disappointed if the only effect of Conditioning Contract is the one I saw today. Added it into our normal Tanihwa instead of Lost and Found and got 400 exp instead of 200; what the hell. Please be something more to this than just that :/.
That makes sense since it's called Conditioning Contract.
And you can get a decent amount of exp from these things, so it's not bad.
Doubles the XP or the reward? If it doubles the XP just imagine the PL potential with that rune.
Reward, it only affects the exp that comes from chests it seems. Will test more tomorrow though.
0/6, gonna switch some pieces around for tomorrow's runs.
Tonight got Koggelmander from the exact same setup as we got our last Zonure from (literally the runes didn't change at all). We'll see where this takes us.
0/13 Koggel
Bout to do another Ermine's tail
This shit is getting annoying
Ok, my group found something silly about the Stillness rune. We were doing a setup for Koggelmander, when I noticed from VZX's post that we never used Stillness in our set ups. So when we added it, our NM bugard went from a "normal" ish bugard, to a "nightmare" bugard, that you'd see in Dynamis - Tav. The behavior for it's skills changed as such:
Awful Eye = STR Down -> STR Down and Petrification
Tail Roll = Single Target Damage (stripped one shadow) -> Directional Damage (stripped 2-3 shadows) and a Sharp Damage Increase (RDM got caught in one for 1200+ dmg)
Tusk = Damage and Short Range Knockback (think like Head Butt or Uppercut) -> Sharp Damage Increase and Long Range Knockback (think like Wrath of Gu'Dha form Dyna Quad NMs)
Makes me wonder what the "Motion" rune would do to the NM. Can anyone confirm/deny any changes? I'll post the persons exact set up tomorrow without Stillness.
