Hmm, so I haven't seen any reports of anyone getting Gnole Torque yet. Is there any speculation on a combination to make this drop?
That's what I'm trying, but also swapping job runes cause I don't have warrior rune...others in my ls have gotten the kogglemander drop fairly often with other posted setups, but switching the magic rune, so it should be ok. I also moved runes around so that the stillness rune is on the water square. No drops yet, but I just started with that setup, so I'll see how it goes.
I have a friend whose 6/9 on Gnole Torques with the recommended setup and I think BLM job but outside that I don't know their statics info sorry. =( I know they've found most everything but gnole crown from what I've seen through /c though lol.
I'm not going to flat out call you a lier, but with the droprate I and everyone else has seen: Pics or It Didn't Happen. That and I wasn't aware there was a "recommended setup" for Gnole Torque even yet. Get your friends to take some pics of the Torque and their setup and have em post em up.
Hopefully one of them will post something more specific and screens, I didn't feel fully entitled nor know their set-up but the typical theory on all the mazes was just to resonate the main rune needed for that maze/drop(great/tiny/still/motion) with a job rune, magic rune, and might, supreme, and lost & found, black mage rune being much easier then other jobs.
More resonating might be better (earrings were gotten with 3 resonating), but gnole torques 6/9 were all resonating, and 0/20 with multiple.(so I guess thats 6/29, I misread their POL message cause they don't use /tell or anything. This is more reasonable lol), 90% of the drops came from job mazes(blm)
That's all the information I've taken down from what I've been told, I'm working on Ermine's Tail and I run my mazes solo with pickup mixes of LS mates when I can get them, none of which have mazes so being able to act on this is a bit harder. One of them will possibly post something less vague or with screens about the earrings/sashes/weapons/torques, but I don't know if any of them are over the 25 post limit, lol.
Since I'm taking apart my map now for gnole torque I decided to SS it and hope someone gets some use out of it. This is for Koggle and I went like 3/7 or something.

I don't do MMM much anymore so I don't know how to make things drop. For the setup he says if anyone's done MMM long enough , they should know the pattern by now to make anything they want drop. That's all I know.
If you can get any more information on the specific setup for Gnole Torque I would greatly appreciate it. We've seen 0 gear drops on 70+ runs so we have to be doing something wrong. Do you know offhand which NM they've been fighting (Buffalo, Rabbits, Dhalmel, Tiger, etc.)? Any and all information will help.
Doing runs atm should be down to only 2 runes needed after the runs ^.^.
Nobody in this thread has gotten accessories yet? I thought the community was up to date on that :< his static all have Mamool Ja earrings too.
These are our statics findings compiled by Ikuni:
So after gathering information from some sources and our experiences we pretty much figured out where the items drops.
There are 4 mob types [ Beast - Plant - Lizard - Vermin ]. Each type of mob will drop specific items.
Beast will drop lizard killer weapons and gnole equipment.
Lizard will drop vermin killer weapons and mamool ja equipment.
Vermin will drop plant killer weapons and antica equipment.
Plant will drop beast killer weapons and lycopodium equipment.
Each drop comes from a specific monster size [ great warrior (big) - tiny warrior (small) ]. In the case of our findings big lizard will drop mamool ja earring and the sword w/ vermin killer. So most likely small lizard will drop the other 2 items which is the club with vermin killer (confirmed by someone else) and the other mamool ja item which is the cape (confirmed by someone else).
Big beast (dhalmal) drops the dagger and a gnole item which hasn't been confirmed yet). Small beast will drop the Great sword and the second gnole item.
Big plant will drop a weapon and a lycopodium equiment. And small plant will drop the other 2 and so on.
It was confirmed that you do not need might and supreme might to make an item drop but we don't know if it will increase the drop rate. Or maybe might drops weapon and supreme might drops equipment or vice versa.
So only items I see that are worthwhile is:
Koggelmander/sword (pretty much one of the best a blu can get)
mamool ja earring (most mnd you can get on ear and it has 30 charges of rr3 but 12hr recast)
mamool ja mantle (an awesome back piece for range attack)
Ermine's Tail/dagger (pretty decent DD dagger)
Lycopodium Earring (although it only has 1magic acc it's the only magic acc on ear and I think it's worthwhile)
Gnole Torque (the best resting neck piece which rivals Phi's necklace but it also has 5mnd which is awesome)
Lycopodium Sash (I would use it for the regen in some situations)
Zaide/Polearm (decent polearm)
For reference, using these setups we have, I think 5/6 Koggel, 5 mamool earrings, and 4 gnole torques that I can think of off the top of my head.
Is there a difference between M02 and M03 when trying to get weapon drops?
I saw Kuno had that good luck with the M02 tabula. I've been using M03 and have gotten nothing.
Also to Lauzian, for those drops you got, which tabula did you use? Thanks.
