I am looking for advice on the best setups for marbles, and best chance for runes. Is there only a set number of runes a Tabula can drop?

A few days ago we manaburned it and the thing that dropped my Ermine's Tail.

Rabbit's not too bad with stunners, didn't even sleep nuke it. Went in with PLD RDM WHM(being 2boxed) BLM BLM BRD. Whirl claws sucks and I highly suggest you take everyone /nin.

Today we tried a bee (unsure what Jdjacker was trying to aim for, I think it was the antica ring), it sucked to attempt to TP burn, we're thinking SC+MB will be the strat for it - also probably giving him elemental magic would be better to get more "Damage time" in - it was highly evasive btw.

Lowest we got it was to 62%, followed by 3-5 pollens for 3k HP or so each , refilling him back to 100% multiple times. We just used our marbles after 15mins when he was back to 100%

i got pwned by a Might bunny too lol

2 of us dual box so thats 4 char (RDM WHM BRD DRK......friend only got rdm and whm ._.)

my bunny job is WAR, brought it to 70%ish and i believe it DA-ed me, removing my shadow and did a foot kick for 1900 damage

We wiped pretty hard on our first Nimble Nelson set up like the above example (Tiny Warrior resonating, supreme might, might, BLM, elemental, L+F). We then tried a manaburn setup of BLM/WHM, BLM/WHM, BLM/WHM, BLM/WHM, RDM/WHM, and PLD/NIN. Things went great, but as usual no drops :/.

After I do my mule runs tonight I'll only be 1 rune off from the full set (Currently I only need Woodsman and Prospector).

We usually have everyone /nin for the bunny except our brd who is /whm. 3 Shadows will absorb his Whirl Claws. If you are spaced right it should only be hitting the tank and melees but we have a blm who always seems to pull hate right when he's ready to use it.

Read up, they said as long as the "drop" rune is matched with element and nothing else is, you're good.

Just used the setup that someone posted on wiki for koggel drop according to moon phase.

Only diff is I didn't use smight and did it on lightningsday with last quarter moon around 50 per cent.

Got a double drop of mnk and smith.

Gonna try to do this setup closer to full or new moon if I can to get koggel.

Yea I used the same setup exactly last night during Lightsday and Full Moon at 90% with nothing chest.

Think I just have really shitty luck, going on 1/50 on Koggel so far

Oh, just correcting something for the Ermine's Tail info posted by Ikuni it was actually Elemental Magic resonating ON Darkness, not Darkness Rune resonating on anything according to Wottles POL message, I was trying to fit them all and couldn't figure out how or what they'd meant so I asked, now I gotta enslave Wottles for 200 marbles back, afk.

A bit of observation from my Purushamriga last night with Elemental/Enfeebling magic attached:
I've never seen elemental -ga casted, only Diaga III as far as -ga spells casted.

Difficulty was Might, if that'll make any difference.

From experience with the M/SM Neutral (no job) strength one it opens with a WS or spell depending if your PLD aggros it and will spam any type of Ga you give it more often then not, we had a strange Purushamriga the other day where it used zero healing breezes and went down like nothing though.

I'll have 3 of my own Ermine's mazes on main/mule within the week just to get it faster so hopefully I get this thing out of the way and can focus on other DNC gear, and likely gnole torque for LSmates and my rabid foam at the mouth snarling pet of tub taru.

I finished my rune set today. Maze Overlord still isn't available, so I guess I'll just have to keep chugging along for that. I'm going to continue saving for Overlord (which should be like 1500-2000 marbles since Artisan was 1000), as well as for more runes when they are released (March update anyone?). Maze Artisan seems to do dick to droprate, we've done so many runs and still haven't seen one piece of gear. Did two Gnole Torque and one Mamool Ja Earring run last night, as per usual no drops.

Yes, I have all 4 titles other than Maze Overlord (Maze Wanderer, Maze Navigator, Maze Scholar, and Maze Artisan), and I keep Maze Artisan on me at all times.

Used the same setup per the wiki one minus smight at full moon zero per cent on iceday. Double rune drop again. This time I got blm and goldsmith.

I think this setup has potential.


4/6 on drops this week (zero koggels).
