Did bugard last night:
Resonated Great Warrior
also had L & F, Supreme Might, Lizard, Divine magic, Warrior
Got Koggelmander from the first chest, first one I had seen. Then popped my 6 C.C. chest and got another Koggelmander! The one from the first chest went to a level 8 BLU.

Also about a week ago did the same maze but replaced great warrior with Stillness and resonated it. Got MMJ Earring from the 6 C.C. chest.

And this is what kills me about MMM. The ridiculously random drop rate where I'm literally 0/??? on Koggel yet others are capping their groups with it. Not hating on anyone but this is just extremely frustrating.

Welcome to FFXI! It happens man. I understand you're frustrated and want to rant, but this is something you just have to come to terms with when playing this game.

So I started experimenting with Voucher06 for fun and to see how it all works. Hoping to see what kind of potential it has for marbles etc. Placement of most elements within the maze seems randomized each time I think (monsters, chests, boxes etc.). The route of the Terrormonger and/or Goblin Digger might be fixed however and I think the Moblin Idols and their type (buff or debuff) are fixed. If I'm wrong please correct me.

Just barely finished first one last night. Setup was:
Tabula 3, resonated Stillness, Shortcut, Goldabriks Generosity, Trial by Velocity, and Trial by Silence (which was a mistake, it's better having reraise). I'd also reccommend Insurance Contract I just hadn't gotten it yet.
Got 200 exp, 34 marbles, and an icecap rolanberry from chest.

After being sent to the "jail" there was an npc moblin named Bunglabiq, he didn't do anything though. There were 2 ladders that also didn't respond. I'm curious what that's about and the "Lamp of Compassion" thing.

Lamp of compassion activates one of the two otherwise-inoperable wells in the jail for a short period of time.

Went 3/3 on Gnole Torque (all from regular chest, although 1 with 5 C.C., 2 with 6 C.C. if that matters) with Beast, TW(res), M, SM, Elemental Magic, WAR job, and L&F. I can't post exact rune placement though because I've since messed with my M02. Honestly though, I doubt there's any difference in drop rate between Ele and Enhancing, RDM and WAR, so it's probably just someone's going to have unusually good luck and someone's going to have unusually bad luck.

Killed Manaburn 5 BLM/NINs + RDM/BLM although that probably doesn't make a difference either.

ive tried manaburning it in the past and it went ok but no drop

i usually go with brd cor pld rdm sam (insert random DD here) and it seems to do well

Has anyone actually got a Zaide to drop? 2 Questions:

Is the color-scheme unique? (Its a Thalassocrat model based on the picture but im unsure if the colors are unique to it)

What was the maze setup for the drop? Goobbue only?

Title or not, I wonder if "maze experience" (the hidden stat that determines how many titles you have qualified for) could possibly influence drops and help to explain the massive disparity in drop rates.

Anyone know what's the marble boost for "number" on voucher #06? I tried to stack everything I could to max marbles, but we ended up failling.

I'm not sure if it was mentioned, but dragon rune add another wyvern, and stillness(?) seem to add a fuckton of watcher.

He takes an item (beastcoin, wood log,...) that you could have recieved when clicking a, errr, glowing light on ground, and open the well right behind him.

Did a 07 voucher run with just rune 109 attached (temp items), spawned a thunder elemental (was lightningday too, coincidence?), went down easily with 6, blu blu sch mnk dnc whm, reward were the same stated before, 200 exp 10 marbles. Seems to be just elementals if no other family is forced by attaching other runes.

How do you kill Tanihwa with might, supreme might, blm, etc etc things on ? we went with bird merit party and wiped. I've tried read a few pages back but didn't find any related info. any recommended strat/setup ?

Basic setup is drk/nin, rdm/whm, blm/rdmx2, bard, whm. or swap a blm with a cor.

gotten 6 koggels. we've had to throw away too many ~.~
