    Sorry Nevex, I meant to address your question earlier. I always go with a friend of mine we split up tasks and always end with 5~10min left, with all 9 paths cleared and Lv60 with max weapon upgrades. I can just post what we do and you can maybe see how much of it can be modified for solo? Or if you can find someone to do this with you.

    In these runs I'm person A and he's person B. A * indicates who controls Chaperix at that point

    A few points to note. Middle 1, depending on runes set, you may need to kill 1~2 extra worms to hit level 5. In Left 2 I grab the 2 bats behind the ???, although I think if you don't they might be up in that first hallway when you start Left 3? Either way Chaperix kills all the mobs in the Left paths, which is how he levels to 60 each run. Middle 2 isn't even needed to hit max level, which is why I don't even bring Chaperix there, he usually hits 60 about halfway through the spiders in Middle 3. You could save time by initiating the key quest right after job change (so you'll get key in the process of spamming Temperix for the weapon upgrades), and the final Chaperix steal is just on my runs, and just because I like being the one to take him into final fight lol

    The point I guess is to balance the stuff that will make him stronger (Lefts for WSs/spells, Rights for the items for Job Change and Weapon upgrade) with the time you're actually spending killing stuff. Also, as I mentioned a few posts ago, it's my belief that the number of Middles you complete will determine the difficulty of the final fight.

    I would like that (so I can go back to V06 lol) but it would seem so far that everyone who has gotten a rune got the drop with a goblin of that job? Aside from Fawkes who didn't specify.

    Went for another mage-belt attempt today with 6 CC points, two belts were:

    From normal chest:
    MND+3
    Magic Acc+1
    Magic Critical Rate+1

    From CC chest:
    MP-3
    Magic Def Bonus-2
    Fast Cast+1

    At least I got an all-jobs Fast Cast belt, that's the main thing I wanted. Nice for BRD casting and such. Now if only I could get it up to about +5 or so...

    I've only seen a couple of +1s so far, but there's probably still something we're missing about how to get the augments stronger. I hope so, at least, because they're pretty weak so far. The melee belts especially aren't even close to some of the AH belts.

    I'll take Fast Cast+1 alone but ya hopefully can get more..

    Has anyone tried picking the Balanced job change option? I'm still waiting for a fast cast belt to call my own, but I'm really curious about what kind of belts are dropped from picking that option.

    You start as balanced. I don't think it's really a job change unless you to go an advanced job and then want to change back for some reason.

    From smashing the boxes down the right-hand path. The boxes will give you the items to change his job, to upgrade his weapon, and various usable items and money for Chaperix.

    I finally managed today to do a maze having Chaperix hit level 60, finish as Spellslinger for belt, and do all 9 quests solo. I did attach a few extra runes, not sure if they're needed; will try tomorrow with an empty maze to see if I can replicate it. The major difference between my previous failing tries was to job change as Walloper first, since it kills much, much faster, then switch to Spellslinger just before doing boss.

    Runes used: Might, Black Mage, Conditioning Contract
    Job: RDM/BLM. Used w.legs, though probably not entirely neccessary. Make sure to bring a weapon you have skill in.

    1. Talk to Sonchostiq -> Chaperix, get Chaperix to follow you
    2. Middle 1, kill 3 fodder worms only; Chaperix should hit level 5-6. If he doesn't, kill one more to hit level 5.
    3. Right 1, make sure to pick up the body boost/strength potion and mana boost/intelligence potion at least.
    4. Run up to Switchlox and talk twice to change to Close-range (Walloper). Keep running up to Bouncebix, talk once to start the Key quest.
    5. Left 1. First mob might be tough for Chaperix, but after that he should be levelling up so much as to heal any damage taken easily; when this happens make a run for the item (SW of map), then run back. Try to fight only enough to level Chaperix up to 15-20.
    6. Right 2. Only really -need- to pick up the iron ore, but the elixir might help too.
    7. Talk to Tempatriq 4 times; first to start the key quest, second to start first weapon quest, third to finish key quest, fourth to finish weapon quest.
    8. Left 2. Item is at center of map, again ignore everything except the mobs on the way there. Again the first mob may be difficult, so watch Chaperix's HP. Chaperix should level to 30ish here.
    9. Right 3. Only really need the darksteel ore and the revitalizer, x-pots can be helpful. (I got 15m warning at this point)
    10. Talk to Tempatriq 2 more times, finish the second weapon quest.
    11. Left 3. Item is at the pond to the NW of map, let Chaperix kill the 6 funguars on the way. Chaperix should hit 45ish.
    12. Middle 2. Kill just the 5 dinky beetles. Chaperix should gain one level at most, if any. (10 min warning)
    13. Middle 3. Exactly 10 Dinky Spiders ignore the rest. Chaperix should level up to 60 within the first 2-3 spiders. At this point he'll stop getting free hp refills so you may need to check on his hp once in awhile, but I didn't really need to cure him since I was tanking whatever he wasn't fighting. These mobs also start to hit for non-trivial damage while unbuffed, so get prot4/phalanx/stoneskin up at this point, and help kill as well with melee or nukes or whatever.
    14. Run up to Switchlox, talk twice and change to Spellslinger.
    15. (optional) Run back down to Tempatriq and talk 4 times to start/finish both weapon quests. This requires you to have taken extra items at Right 2 and 3 though, and the benefit of doing this isn't very clear-cut considering the time spent vs how much Spellslinger uses his weapon. I chose not to do this since I was at about 6 minutes left.
    16. Run further up to Bouncebix, complete key quest. Enter boss room. (5m warning)
    17. Boss. I got the behemoth which Chaperix brought to 33% with Elemental Blitz alone. A few nukes after and it was dead.
    18. Talk to Sonchostiq one last time, get your lolBelt. Finished with 2m30s to spare.

    Belt (0 CC): MP+22 Magic Def Bonus+1 Magic Crit+1.

    My friend did a ranger goblin and got this belt from the CC chest with 6 points.

    My friend just got the same belt. We did walloper gob.

    On another note, I'm still getting stuck at the job change Gob when I have the gob npc with me. I had other people take the gob off me but one of them then proceeded to get stuck at Tempatriq. Barely won when I told the others how to end the maze. But this is starting to really frustrate me.

    Has anyone seen this wyvern before? We had him pop in Middle 3 after having Switchlox say something about an ultimate challenge. Only rune was 102.

    EDIT: Here's the chat with Switchlox after killing the wyvern. Didn't seem to do anything, but we couldn't change him from Walloper to Spellsinger without doing it.

    Was definitely an "ultimate challenge". Take note of the timestamps to see exactly how fast Chaperix tore it in half.

    I have quite a few questions regarding the NM maze, if anyone would mind answering.

    Right now, I have a voucher7 maze with Lizard, stillness, supreme might, divine/enfeebling magic, black mage, lost and found, and just missing a few more marbles for great warrior. This maze right now should pop the raptor and drop the earring, right? And once I get the great warrior, it should be tanihwa and it should also drop the earring?

    I'm probably gonna change BLM to another job rune once I get another, but right now BLM is the only one I have.

    Does my setup look ok? I only care about the earring.

    Also, another few set of questions. I'm still only using the Tabula that I started with. I don't really get what the benefits of the other tabulas would be? I'm also assuming that they will each be their own inventory spot, which is very precious to me and something that I really don't have much of. The only thing I know is that the other tabulas have those elemental affinity spots, what exactly do they do, and is the difference noticeable enough to go after them? Kind of a lot of questions :/ sorry

    Yeah, both setups will drop the earring. Tanihwa might also drop Koggelmander as well as earring, but I don't think there is any data whether adding another item to the pool affects drop rates of a given item. (My Tanihwa has just great warrior on - no stillness, and the drop rate is horrible. Still not seen 1 Koggelmander at all, but lots of runes dropping lately)

    I don't know how you're planning to defeat Rahu or Tanihwa, but having divine magic and black mage on the tabula will give the NM's access to -ga's (diaga, banishga, elemental-ga), which is bad for any shadow tanking. Basically it means bring a few people along who can stun too if you're not manaburning it. The wide variety of spells may also make it easier too though especially if it casts ancient magic. My maze for Tanihwa has enhancing magic and rdm runes, and so the occasional tier III makes the NM more friendly for me on sch (dispelling frequently in addition to aoe enspells, storms, stoneskin, and aquaveil). Thankfully though I usually take a thf to steal hate since I have a crap -enmity set currently.

    Drops can definitely be obtained from tabula's without elemental affinities, and yes the extra tabula's will take up another inventory slot each. I personally still have no idea what the elemental affinity spots do in connection with runes to the NM. I've personally not seen any noticeable difference between resonating and non-resonating. So far the only benefit of have all 3 tabula's is that I don't have to re-spec tabula's each time I do a different maze. The tabula's with elemental affinities also have 1 less space to use which may make a difference in getting all your runes on sometimes.
