Just curious are you shooting for an awesome belt, good marbles, just having fun, or what?

Just stockpiling marbles for the add on runes that'll be coming with that fishing voucher.
I think 1K marbles should be enough when it comes out eh? Generally its 3-4 200-300 marbles that come out with a new voucher...
Wait, you do that with 3 people and don't finish all the quests? O.o The hell.
We get everything done but L3, dont really bother with it since gob is already lv 50 lol
I suppose if we tried harder we could do that too but all it'd get us is a ja chaperix probably doesn't need, as opposed to winning 5 mins earlier and finishing our runs faster.
Has anyone tried actualization with a lv 10 mule or whatever and seeing if that effects the marble reward? We'll probably be trying this shortly but if someone already has the answer will make it easier for us.
Character level has no effect on marbles. Also, if you're trying to shave time and don't care about finishing the quests then why clear R3? Better yet, why aren't you splitting everything up with multiple people? It would be substantially faster for someone to clear R1-3 solo while someone else is leveling Chaperix.
I don't even bother getting Chapy his JAs from the Fetch quests. It's glitched a lot so he tends to have them anyways or not use them even when I get them.
1 person clears all 3 fetch.
1 person lvls Chapy
1 person does crates
Crates and fetch are done in 5 mins. Speed through worms so you can job change and switch to Rng to Bomb toss power lvl him.
I did not know you could enter other runs aside from the one chaperix is in, if so yeah this really clears up time...
Question though, does it mater who holds the items for weapon upgrades / job change? I thought the person with chaperix needs those or can you trade them to others / it doesnt matter who has it?
Now I see what I'm doing wrong... Thank you!
When you go to upgrade weapons, change jobs, or get the key you just need to have the person that cleared the crates talk to Chaperix. There's a menu that will pop up, and one of options says something like "Follow me!" This will make Chaperix follow that person, and they can then talk to the NPCs needed to do the upgrades.
I noticed that I got rune 116 (spellslinger) when I finished V05 with Chappy on spellslinger. Are you required to finish V05 with Chappy on a specific job to get those runes?
For example is it possible for me to get 114 or 115 if Chappy is always on spellslinger?
Just to add to what Rug said, I believe those job runes are -3 marbles.
Been reading back in the old posts. I'm trying for a Gnole torque and currently using a SM+M setup. Do people vow by SM+WAR now? People were getting insanely good drop rates with it in earlier posts~
The runes you need for certain are Beast 004, Tiny Warrior 016, and Lost and Found 094.
The general consensus is that runes which increase difficulty will increase drop rate, but to answer your question, there is no consensus as to which runes are better to include on the maze. Job runes do increase marble count (one of the theories is that a higher marble count gives a better drop rate), and so could be considered to make the monster tougher, but no one knows how it increases drop rate in comparison to say the might rune. Resonating runes apparently increases the effect of the runes, making them tougher too, and theoretically increasing drop rate. The only problem is that some people have had insane luck on drops, while other go 0/someinsanelylargenumber with exactly the same configuration, and no one knows why.
My advice is simply follow your gut with the information you're given in this thread. I would go with maximizing marbles for the NM, and resonating what you can.
This is probably going to be lost useless information, but i found something out about low level Exp (Mainly under level 20).
There's at least 2 Breath type moves that do not scale properly.
1)Radiant Breath: At level 1, With an Enemy Wyvern at about 3HP Left (Max HP was about 30?) He used Radiant Breath, 1 Shotting my CHAR for 100DMG. at level 4-5 Or so, It again one shotted my CHAR for over 200DMG.
2)Hellstorm: Pretty sure it was Hellstorm, Looked like a Bomb Breath attack. did roughly 200DMG to a level 4 CHAR, with mob in low HP.
I've taken Bad Breath, Wind Breath(?. Dragon Family), Heat Breath (Manticore), Poison Breath and all these breath moves do scale properly.
Mostly useless info, just a heads up for people doing low level exp who may come across these mobs![]()
I'd appreciate it if you tried SM+WAR for a while to counter or reinforce my group's seemingly lucky streak with itMaybe there is some sort of "best drop rate" setup for each item, but I kind of doubt it's that complicated. We probably just (finally) got on the random number generator's good side.
Now to sacrifice a goat to it in order to see MAB on a Moblin Cest. 2 Fast Cast belts so far, and I haven't even seen negative MAB.
Id use M+WAR or M+BLM not only because ive seen far more drops with these two setups but because SM+M is unforgiving (you'll be hitting for 0 at times) on an already very unforgiving mob.
It may just be personal preference but I prefer the M+BLM setup that allows for breathing room in the form of spells instead of TP attacks or M+WAR which goes down faster than M+SM.
Here's something if you want to try it, Gorib - a Coeurl-type mob that drops either Gnole Torque or a DRK sword. Ive tried it before, it uses only the CoP-WoTG era TP moves (no blaster/chaotic eye) but have seen more DRK swords than torques though I attribute that to luck.
It's more something to do if your group cant handle bunny since it is wayyyyy easier.
I didnt mean M+BLM for Gorib, only for Nimble Nelson. I guess I should have made that clearer.
Gorib is so easy, M+WAR is not a problem since most of his TP attacks are an easy-to-dispel Attack Boost or a 1-shadow Pounce attack.
Outside of that, id put Gorib on the same level as Purushamriga in terms of difficulty. A WHM or SCH is needed since Petrofactive Breath petrifies.
