    I definitely wouldn't put Healing Magic on. Just to let you know, by default the NMs have no magic at all. It doesn't pick a random type if you don't set any magic runes. Divine is one of the least painful options, though, if you want to give it magic in order to have an MP pool to Aspir (and maybe up the drop rate).

    It is also traditional to use M02 and resonate Tiny Warrior, but I don't know if that really helps or not, or whether you're doing that already.

    Are you doing an ES + Sleep II order and then timed nukes?

    Anyone know a good maze setup that a SAM/DNC + NPC can duo for EXP? So far i'm *just* managing to finish with no enemy level modifiers, the NPC rune and a bunch of random mob types.

    Use Polearm and go with 3, 14(res), 108, 110 to start.

    Can someone please assist in providing a diagram/screenshot of a Koggelmander dropping Maze Voucher? Even an idea on what page the info is confirmed on would be great. We had a lot of bad luck on prior attempts and are 0/30 or so. I think that our mazes were not setup properly and confirmation would be greatly appreciated.

    The most recent information suggests that required runes are simply Lizard, Great Warrior, and Lost&Found. Might, Supreme Might, magic/job runes, other assorted buffs likely increase droprate. I got mine with Lizard, Great Warrior, Might, Supreme Might, Divine Magic, Stillness.

    This was my main setup (the famous wikia setup) that netted me a bunch of Koggels using a standard party setup.

    Thorny's setup works as well and also throws the Mamool Ja Earring into the mix but the nightmare TP moves can get annoying if you don't have a second tank since Awful Eye will reset hate and Tusk gets a knockback effect.

    There any mob that might be better for an Exp run than Birds? or them the best =o?

    Im using M01, and yes we are using ES SLeep2 sleep order, and timed nukes.

    I feel like might would destroy us, its already a scary fight, MP-wise. He does nto sleep for very long. although that could be in part due to his inherent white magic from divine magic rune.

    I'll take off insurance contract and healing magic, what do you all think?

    It'd be better but realize without might or supreme might, your potential drop rate is going to be complete ass. (by MMM standards)

    They're pretty much the best. If you can have Tabula02 then you can resonate Tiny Warrior, which makes your rate of Rocs and Cocks pretty low. This leaves you with mainly pink birds (weak), big bats (super weak), and triple bats (attack down sort of sucks, but it's not terrible).

    Awful Eye will petrify and reset hate with Stillness, but we just had our tank not face it. Tusk is still nasty, though, even to a RDM/NIN. If you can find a RDM/NIN or PLD/NIN (or maybe even NIN/DRK) to tank these for you, that's preferable (IMO). This goes for any MMM NM.

    We had Stillness on our runs too, but none of us actually wanted a Koggel; we were going for earrings. I have no idea whether Koggelmanders will drop less often from a setup that can also drop earrings. In the process of getting 4 earrings, we ended up with 2-3 swords too.

    Also, the phrase "Rocs and Cocks" made me laugh. For the record, my exp setup uses Bird and Aquan, and my merit setup uses Bird and Demon. Nothing like Surprise Taurus in your merits. I based them on this:

    Is there a number behind "ass"?

    what about might?

    like 10% with neither?

    25% with might?

    50% wtih might and supreme might?

    Well really you're fine with good DD/nin on most of them. It works great for tanks as long it's not Stillness + GW bugard in my experience, assuming you have good support[atleast brd or cor, brd + cor, or 2x brd ideal] and use pizza, I've done numberous runs with sam/nin + war/nin or something and bounce hate on SM + M.

    And exact rates unknown but I'd say if other stuff + SM + M 10% at best, and 5% at worst and rest below that, I'd estimate niether in the 1~2% range at best, worse 0~1%.

    Question for people who've been doing Voucher 05:

    Is it safe to do the maze with Might + Supreme Might? I recently got the SM rune, and I was a little cautious of using both at the same time. I didn't want the boss to overwhelm Chaperix.

    The main concern with M+SM isn't the boss so much as the mobs until Chaperix hits level 30 or so. They will hit him pretty hard, so you really have to be on top of curing him. It also makes it so that he can't really fight more than one mob at a time. Of course, he'll gain an awful lot of exp from each mob, so you can still get him to 60 without using Bomb Toss PL or any of that stuff. The last thing to mention is that SM is +4 marbles on V05.

    This, pretty much. I use SM, M, and 108. At level 58-60 with a twice-upgraded weapon, Spellslinger has no issues with any boss. Sometimes, on the weapons, he'll end up using an elixir.

    The first area I do (M1), I cast Dispel on the first worm. By the time Chaperix does enough damage that it turns to him, he's already level 3. If you don't have something to grab at least some hate on that first mob...well, he's going to get beat. Hard. I spaced once and didn't cast on the first mob, and he died in seconds (while I was casting Refresh...I was sick and really out of it). Once he's past that first mob, though, he's pretty much safe from the rest of the worms.

    With 108, M1 gets him up to 14 or 15. Starting M2 at that level (after doing R1 and R2, changing to Walloper, and upgrading the weapon once), I again Dispel the first beetle. This time, I tend to have to toss 1 or 2 Cure IIIs to Chaperix before he starts self-healing via leveling. After that, I can leave him alone on the second mob while I round up the rest, and he's good from there on out.

    That gets him to 31-33, at which point he's relatively difficult for things in L1-3 to take down (since he's leveling during those also; about 40 > 50 > 60 at the end of each.) I do round up all 5 funguar myself in the ??? room of L3 just in case. I watch him for a second if he gets all 3 bats at once at the start of L1, but he's always fine.

    I finally got myself a MAB +2 belt (for COR) and a Fast Cast +1 belt (for everything else). I'm still trying to get both on one belt to save space. The closest so far has been FC +1, m.acc +2, MAB +1. I guess I might keep trying until the new fishing maze comes out. It'd be nice to have MAB+2 and some m.acc on one belt, at least, though I'm only dropping 4 AGI for it (and getting 200k back).

    Still no sightings of a Fast Cast +2 belt? I used to be satisfied with my FC+1 until some guy in another thread mentioned "his friend" getting +2.

    In the same vein, has anyone seen a Snapshot+2 belt? Ive seen three +1s in the last 5 clears with Barrager.

    About those SM+M runs, id recommend never doing L1 first.... those bats kick Chaperix's ass in a hurry >.>.

    Don't know what job you guys drag in, but I do the Chaperix maze with Might and Supreme Might as Monk/White Mage. Just Diaga and clear through the Fetchafox quests, he's generally 30-33 by the end. Rinse and repeat with the Slayalox ones, though I do so after getting his job changed so that he stops trying to cast Stoneskin all the time.
