I've tried my experience with Beasts, Lizards and Birds. Lizards and beast mostly Solo/Duo to test the water... You can put as many "Family" runes as you want to increase the chance of actually getting small mobs with Tiny Warrior Resonating.
Beasts aren't horrific,
-Rabbits are kinda easy, Whirlclaws can be absorbed, outside of that, simple.
-Manticores are so incredibly laughable its sad (Super slow attack) at early levels. later on their Attack power finally levels out, and they become a burden.
-Sheep would be bad if Mages got slept,
-Tigers aren't to bad as long as paralyna is available, preferably 2 sources.
-Coeurls are actually incredibly easy with no damaging WSs, they just need a -na mage to be ready.
Dhalmels can spawn, but fuck them.
Lizards...
-Lizards themselves were easy, no problems.
-Efts: Hit hard and fast, Cyclo-tail wasn't terribad, but Venom Spit or w/e was a pain in the ass. Dispel... /cry.
-Wivre: Fucking rape/masacre of death, nothing about these mobs is fun, ever.
-Raptors: Can go to hell, right to hell and die.
Aquans are actually easy if you set tiny warrior and 2 Family types. like Aquan/Bird, you got a good chance of never seeing a Kraken.
Through all the testing however, i find its simpler to rely on Bird rune alone, however, Bird/Aquan with Tiny warrior will lessen your chance at a big-rape-face mob with only 6 spawns =<
