Issue with Reinstall

Ok, my mother tried out my Vista Ultimate copy. Well, it's a cracked version, need to enter a CD key.

After about a week, he computer no says "Unauthorzied copy, please enter CD key" After discussing with her, decided to load XP back on. Here is the kicker:

Whenever my boots from the CD..it start to load the files needed from the CD, then it is done, gives him the Blue screen of death. Now , I have never had this problem when removing Vista and going to XP. Have you guys heard of this? I will be going over to my parent's house tonight to see what is up. Any adivce is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

You either have a bad XP cd, using the wrong type of CD (like... a Dell CD on a HP computer) or your hard drive is fucking up. Format the disk first and try again... or try a different XP CD.
