what? I use idle macro's to swap in specific gear sets and spellcast to adjust what I need to swap according to what gearsets I have on atm. Do you have a problem with reading comprehension skills?

Just so ppl like you with a negative IQ can understand. Swapping in Idle gear and blinking once, then using spellcast to swap NON-BLINKABLE gear according to that idle set is what I do. I don't blink every 2-3 seconds, only when I decide I need a specific idle set during a fight.

So to wrap things up in this episode of Kandiekane's How To Paladin 101:

1. PLD/DRK is your #1 choice for crowd control in events like einherjar and dynamis.
2. PLD/RDM is a joke and left for solo situations.
3. PLD/NIN is the accepted and most widely used job combo for Dark Ixion, thus making it the best. (It's possible to kill with other job combo's, but it's also possible to swallow a bottle of Tylenol and get your stomach pumped and survive, yea it's possible but I wouldn't do it)
4. Spellcast is a widely used tool that everyone uses. However, it does not decided what gearsets you need to equip in all situations. You must decide that for yourself with bind or idle macro sets.
5. Blinking gives you such marginal benefits that it outweighs the benefits if your mages cannot deal with it.
6. There will always be blinkers, and there will always be non-blinkers.
7. Both Neo and his thread was a complete failure and this discussion really got nowhere.
8. Belkin now knows his true origin and is blinking away his sorrow.

Read what I just said. You only need 2-3 idle sets and spellcast will do the rest ACCORDING TO WHAT GEAR SET YOU HAVE ON.

Much easier to deal with, much easier to manage. Spellcast isn't god, it doesn't know when you need what gearsets, you still need to ultimatley decide, whether through a macro or a bind key, that you need more of either haste, enmity, shield, mdb, acc, etc.

That was the point I was trying to make. You need many idle sets or macro binds, w/e you want to call them, and manually switch into the proper gearsets when YOU think you need them. Spellcast won't help you decide.

I hardly count three - four macros as being a lot compared to needing an extra palette for every situation.

Cerberus, Khimaira, Proto-Ultima, Dark Ixion, Sandworm - none of these are HNMs? I'd love to know what "real" HNMs are then. Oh, I suppose your going to tell us that you've killed Absolute Virtue post souleater nerf eh?

Edit: I thought you said earlier in the thread that you DON'T use windower macros or SpellCast? Pretty sure you at least said you don't use SpellCast and you just have a macro palette for each situation..

Read my cliffs notes and go rework your macro's. Also lvl drk to 37 so you can be efficient in dynamis/einherjar lolz.
