That's pretty awesome. I would've enjoyed having an opportunity to see a spiderweb that majestic.

I remember hearing this one on the news a year ago.

Giant Spider Web in an east Texas State Park

Well, I think this was it. I ended up googling it, and there can't be too many parks in Texas which were taken over by giant spider webs.

When I was younger we used to have caterpillars do the same thing in the trees of my neighbor hood. They would connect from tree to tree all throughout, making the streets look like they had a roof over them.

I remember caterpillars that would kind of just hang in the air off of branches along the road in my neighborhood but no roofs over the streets. That's crazy, haha.

They were here first, I don't know if it was my hand thawing out from shoveling snow or being creeped out but I felt something crawling on my right hand and got freaked a little.

Gypsy Moths I think. We introduced them to our local habitat several years ago as an extermination method for something else, then they went nuts and took over all the trees. So, then we introduced ladybugs to eliminate the gypsy moths, and now those are fucking everywhere. I end up killing 50+ of them that find their way into my house during the winter.

I have seen a lot of fucked up things on the internet but I had to close my eyes and scroll past the blender tarantula. I actually like tarantulas - kind of. They're big and fuzzy and they're much easier to keep track of than other spiders, so I don't mind them as much. I thought about getting one as a pet when I was younger, glad I didn't though. Still, they're pretty cool. I feel bad that anyone would do that to the poor creature, things shouldn't be hated just because they're unjustifiably scary to an admittedly large group of people... =(
