Sane player shouldn't send an invite without at least sending a tell; if not, think of it as natural selection.

If the transaction proceeds as you described, can safely assume that it's a botting account.

It's sad so many peeps don't see the problem with telebotters. Sure it's convenient to tele quickly, but there's never a good enough reason to allow RMT to gather any amount of gil. There has been 2 telebotters on Remora for a long long time, and it's really obvious, and GMs will never deal with them.

said this before, but a friend of mine with app (no seriously, lol, been too lazy/chicken to d/l it/feel like paying for it) told me you can have certain 'flag' words, like "bot" "hack" or whathaveyou and it sets off a chime (if you're smart you won't risk your account further and actually be completely afk while said character does the tele-botting) so you can come back and dispel some of the assumptions/accusations with a nice custom "no fgt I'm not a bot" or "lol you're no GM"

Got to be honest, I've encountered a few people who I suspect of tele-botting. I don't dare report them because their services are just too convenient. I've noticed that when they aren't online, I have to wait up to 10 mins for a tele, sometimes I don't get one at all. When they are online though, insta-tele.

Actually, I've never botted once. I use windower and its plugins, though, so if you want to lump me in with them feel free. I've never felt the need to use bots, there's plenty of other people using them and while I wouldn't risk my account doing it I'm happy to reap the benefits of other people doing it.

I don't have any problem with the RMT telebots because for once the RMT is making their gil in a manner that's fairly productive for the rest of the players. Since the most recent group of them has been banned, it's been nearly impossible to find a teleport, even to the basic three crags. Funny, you'd think if they were pushing legit teleporters out of business the players would be all over this new surge of people shouting for half an hour or more.

People are too fucking lazy to play teletaxi anymore. Some people might not be on your server, but on mine it's almost impossible to get a teleport/recall/retrace from a nonbot. All that's accomplished by banning them is a) irritating people who didn't have any problem with them and b) inciting them to going back to camping Serket and KA against you for gil.

RMT isn't like some sort of bug infestation, that you can cut off every source and have it never return. It's going to be a part of this game until the servers die or it's no longer profitable because of the lack of people playing, and the RMT farmers will be doing their fishbotting, craftbotting, telebotting, and NM botting right up until then. It's really up to you to try and get them to only do things that don't interfere with the largest majority of players.

I'd much rather have them sit in town nearly harmless providing a service (and providing it well) that most players are much too lazy to bother doing than camping monsters against players for gear people want. It's lovely seeing half naked, full AF1 ninjas sporting those Vbelts. So I'm sorry that I'd rather have the RMT not fuck up "your game" as badly as they would be otherwise.

Tempted to have a friend Tele-Yhoat. I go and pull a lizard, CFH on it. Friend gets samisa to invite and then flashed the lizard, then we both warp and the lizard (hopefully) eats Samisa until she dies.

There is a telebot (I think) on Odin.

Kimikiss, always idling either at the Guide Stone or MH in Lower Jeuno. Instant invites and no talking. I haven't tried trading 3 gil yet but I don't want to lose cheap teles.
