I just started watching this series after my cousin gave me the first few seasons and I love Jason Segel so much. I love I can get a nice dose of his comedy weekly instead of waiting for his next movie to come out.

I won't say that I can't stand him, but I definitely dislike him. It wasn't like this always though lol... a few months back I watched Freaks and Geeks, start to finish, and he was just so annoying in that show (and not funny at all), that now I see that same character in him in every single HIMYM episode I watch... =/

Two and a half men is the best show on their monday night lineup, you're really missing out if you're not watching it.

It was actually the superbowl episode iirc. They were showing superbowls from previous years and showed how Barnie's gambling addiction started. First he doesn't want to gamble but takes Marshall's 10 dollar bet anyways and wins, and then gets hooked. After that they show the next year and then that thing you quoted happens..

One of my favorite episodes for sure.

It was the superbowl episode. The episode name was "Monday Night Football". Marshall bets him 20 bucks, then Barney says, "No way, betting is for suckers." So they agree on $1. After Barney wins he gets this huge rush, then next year is when he does the funny shit.
