Well I do agree on the fact that it could be Stella's friend, but I dunno. Outside of Robin and what.. one other? We haven't seen many of Ted's ex's, so her showing up, especially near the end of the season could prove to be important between them.

Or you could look at it another way; Sarah Chalke won't have much time to come to the show if Scrubs gets picked back up for another season (which it shouldn't), so it'd be hard to squeeze her into another season. I feel we'll find out about the mother with the wedding and what not, then a flashforward to the current Ted/Barney/Robin/Marshall/Lily, etc. That's my thoughts anyway.

There's been evidence about something in Ted's room belonging to Stella so.. that's sort of odd. I honestly don't know where they are going with this; one of Stella's friends that Ted gets introduced to somehow, or her and Stella get back together after something not going right with Stella's ex.

Well considering that even if Scrubs gets picked up for another season it doesn't mean Sarah Chalke will be back with it. They have discussed some stars leaving. With JD wanting to move to be closer to his child and her and JD's relationship it could be foreshadowing them both leaving the show.

This is something that's been on my mind about this for a while, actually. I'm pretty sure they've been planning for this all along. Back when Stella first showed up, didn't she talk about going to a St. Patrick's day party and leaving her umbrella there? And didn't Ted pick up that stray yellow umbrella at the St. Patrick's day party? And also, didn't he say that the kids' mother was also at that party, he just didn't know it at the time? I could be completely off here, but it's some food for thought.

Hm.. Next two episodes? Interesting. Is the guy who played her old babydaddy in the cast as well? Leads me to wonder if she's still with him, which she probably is.. just to throw a monkey wrench into all this.

And yeah, that's true about her and JD's characters on Scrubs being close/probably moving in or something at the Scrubs finale, so that's writing them out. I think it's been said they'd come back as guest stars or something, and it'd be easy to write them out anyway.

Has anyone compared the brunette at the St. Patrick's Day Party to Stella's friends at the movie theater?

Has anyone else noticed that the show in general seems to be doing fine without Lilly being present? I just kind of came to that realization after she showed up at the end for like a half-minute.

All in all, a good episode and I thought it played out quite interesting with the whole Ted/Stella thing.

I really liked how they handled the Ted/Stella story, not what I expected but I don't think they could have possibly done a better job with it.
