double post
Ladies and gentlemen of the supposed jury, I have one final thing I want you to consider: this is Jabbos. Jabbos is a Galka from the Republic of Bastok, but Jabbos lives on the Movalpolos.
http://www29.atwiki.jp/kemotar/?plugin=ref&serial=898
Now, think about that. That does not make sense!
Why would a Galka -- an eight foot tall Galka -- want to live on Movalpolos with a bunch of two foot tall Moblins? That does not make sense!

But more importantly, you have to ask yourself: what does that have to do with this thread? Nothing. Ladies and gentlemen, it has nothing to do with this thread! It does not make sense!
Look at me, I'm in a topic about magus sisters, and I'm talkin' about Jabbos. Does that make sense? Ladies and gentlemen, I am not making any sense. None of this makes sense.
And so you have to remember, when you're on your PSP, playing Dissidia... does it make sense? No! Ladies and gentlemen of this supposed jury, it does not make sense.
If Jabbos lives on Movalpolos, magus sisters isn't the new summon! The defense rests.
What's up with some people thinking that Alex and Odin won't be added as summons? I mean, SE set it up so they could be added as summons. If you beat ToAU, you see, in the final CS, that there's a portal open inside of the Iron Colossus and a portal in the Hazhalm grounds that leads to the realm of the avatars.
Also, Phoenix is reborn with prince emo in CoP, eliminating her as a Summon. Bahamut will never be a summon.
Fucking amazing chewbaca post LOL.
Why..WOULD Odin and Alexander be added as summons? The details about them pretty much goes against everything on the player's end, unlike Diabolos and Fenrir.
Odin: You have to become HIS vessel..Summoners don't sell their soul to their avatars..they make pacts.
Alexander: Inhabits worthy Matons..are you a Maton? No..do summoners use Matons? No. Would it make sense for Summoners to suddenly stroll around with a Maton with the spirit of Alexander? No. Also Alexander is holy/light based, and you know what that means? More healing..and Summoners apparently want away from that.
So no, SE did not set it up so they can be added as summons, they set it up so the story made sense.
Who says light element has to only be about healing? Luminohelix isn't a healing helix you know. And yeah, Banish is pretty impractical...but that's one thing they need to fix for WHM in my opinion.
And ultimately...you must remember that in most cases you're summoning a fragment of the Avatar, not the whole thing. Odin seems quite open to making pacts anyway.
If you have finished CoP and go to Mhaura, a NPC named Mathele will let you review the cutscenes, one of them has the title: "In the Name of Justice"
In JP version of FFXI, this title is named as "メーガスの名は永遠に" (Magus' Name Forever!)
メーガス is teh Magus.
Clearly this means Magus from Chrono Trigger is the new avatar.
Why would they go out of their way to tell you they left portals open to Alexander and Odin without giving them any other purpose?
Also, to get an avatar, and this is true for all of the celestial avatars, you generally go in and beat their ass and they then serve you.
SE has made it clear there's a link to these avatar realms. There's no fight, quest, anything that involves these two areas, but there are going to be at least two new avatars introduced... Seems pretty obvious.
And yet..Odin and Alexander aren't new..so how are they going to be "two newly introduced avatars"?
SE went out of the way to introduce a "job" quest in CoP, yet you don't exactly unlock a job in that expansion for your character..they even went out of the way of show Tavnazia from Blueblade fell, but you never even get a hint at going into the city till recently..almost 4 years later.
Just about every FF game is deep on story, so you can look so deep as to say they left portals open so you can fight them, but you can also look at it that it concludes the story. You fight Odin in Einherjer already. Not to mention, SE went out of the way to explain you have to sell your soul to him to get him to "serve" you..and he'll use YOU when the time is right.
No other avatars have "rules" like that. So like I said, you can keep looking as deep as you want into the whole Alexander/Odin thing, but because you kick Bahamut's ass..twice..he still doesn't become your avatar..excluding the fact they already said they don't want him being toned down. So yeah.
Oh..and as for the "There's no quest/fight/etc involving the Avatar realms"..like I said, story element, not every thing mentioned in the story has to be a "physical" aspect, the avatars just don't plop outta nowhere..so of course there needed to be an explanation that there were "portals left open"..that could always mean they plan to expand on a story, like they've done in the past with Rank nations > Zilart release.
Alexander has those rules too, kind of. Reason is that Odin and Alexander are both "awake". They are freed from their Protocrystals. Storywise it would make very little sense to give those two Avatars to Summoners.
Only way to make such a pact with Odin would be to go back in time and fight him when his Protocrystal is still intact.
I noticed Dissidia also said FFXI had Magic Pot in it too. D: We have "magic pots" as in the arcana stuff, but not actually the summon.
If the Shikarees are the magus sisters: Explain Shikaree G, who appears in some WotG cutscenes.
Never said there weren't more Sin Hunters beyond X,Y,Z? Can be others who aren't part of a homage.
Alexander and Odin. Yes, Odin possesses "worthy" warriors. Yes, Alexander possesses "worthy" automatons. This, in my opinion, is simply because they are lacking their own protocrystals. Likely, Alexander's was destroyed when Odin destroyed Alzadaal centuries ago. Odin's, possibly, was the black crystal we see shattered in some CoP CSs. The other Celestials possess "worthy" crystals.
Or, maybe it doesn't matter what they possess. Maybe in possessing someone/something, that is how they are able to fully manifest their full power in our dimension instead of just the fraction of power that summoners use. Maybe for Gardua to be fully manifest, she would have to possess someone. (Side note: when Alexander possesses his automaton in ToAU, he very well might be possessing Razfahd to some degree.)
When we fight the other Celestial Avatars, we enter the protocrystals--the object they are possessing in our realm. To fight Alexander, we could enter through portal in the machine he possessed. Odin, we likely can simply enter the portal left open in Hazhalm and not his possessee.
But Odin possesses people and can't be summoned!
So what if he possesses and uses people? That's Odin using his full self. There's nothing really to stop him from also giving a fraction of his power like any other Avatar. Same goes for the giant flying castle.
tl;dr
Basically, it is possible we'll get Alexander and Odin. Will we get them? Only SE knows.
