IE only workaround
ok, so my work has 2 webpages that we use for all sales (i sell verizon cell phones), one for making contracts, the other for receipts, the contract webpage is IE only, whereas the receipt page works in firefox, the problem im having is that the computers we have are slow as frozen donkey balls covered in molassas (they gave us a computer with vista (i like vista, shutup lol) but only 512mb ram, so that sucks)so im looking to see if i can do all our work related stuff in linux, its free (they wont let me get bootleg windows lol, and wont buy new copies to do a fresh install) and its fast even on these computers, but the problem is getting internet explorer on linux, i know about wine, but 2 problems with that, you can only run like IE 4 or something and even once its up and running its unstable at best, so im seeing if anyone of you know anyway to get an IE only webpage to work on firefox
or if anyone else has any tips
taking an hour to do an activation that should only take 15 mins is killing not only me but our business as well
(and if you need an upgrade or want to switch to verizon, HIT ME UP lol)
no really

IE Tab???
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419
Pretty sure all this does is open IE in firefox, but still worth a shot.

There's also the opposite to FF's IE Tab, which is Silverlight. I highly unrecommend that.
Sorry man the only way I see out of this is plopping at least another 512 megs in there.

seriously, just tell your boss to drop $20 on ram
-
thing is, its not only the ram, thats only one computer we have, the biggest problem is virus's, malware, adware, spyware, and all that crap, no matter what i do to these computers to FIX this crap, my boss's continually put stupid ass software that doesnt work to get rid of it all, then erase what i put on to actually get rid of it, if i can get linux on them, then ill be the only person that knows how to use it, meaning i have complete control over our computers lol

Either use Konqueror and setting the agent to IE, or just try this
