360 Wireless adapters?

Hi, been looking into a 360 but not having live would be a big downside for me. To have live it would require me to run a wire from 3rd floor to the basement or a wireless adapter. Ebgames.com shows only one available adapter for 100$ which is kind of a turn of. Any other adapters that are much cheaper? (Preferably one I can buy in rl)

theres a pelican one that you have to hook up to a computer first and configure and then hook up to the 360 for like $70, the ms one used at gamestops is also $70

In other words, be ready to spend $70 or more no matter what -- unless you get lucky on eBay.

You may be able to find one from back when there was only Xbox. I still use the wireless adapter that I bought with my Xbox and it works perfect for my 360. May be cheaper if they're older.

I don't usually rep Microsoft on much, but the 360 Wireless Adapter is worth every part of its cost. It also lets you LAN other 360s without any effort, if they have the adapter as well. It's pretty nice and I don't think i've ever had the problems i've had with wireless D-Link or Linksys Adapters. It kind of sucks it's rather expensive, but for the price you do actually get something pretty substantial.

Go cheap! sadly i don't have a 360 to test it but it sounds easy to do.

i got a $50 buffalo gaming adapter and it works better than the $100 official one(its crap)
or you can just get a cheap router and flash it with dd wrt

dont see why you say the official is crap as everyone ive ever seen use it has said it works great
