As for my own Christmas I got a bunch of stuff that will help me though my upcoming unemployment, like $100 gift cards for gas and one for my grocery store as well as some gift certificates to a few nice restaurants so I can take my girlfriend out even when I'm hard up for cash. Other than that I got some nice alpaca wool scarves my parents brought back from their cruise down to Peru and Chile as well as some interesting-looking history and literary criticism books.

Bose speakers were a surprise as well as the shoes from my girlfriend. I was certainly surprised this Christmas.
