I must say... I've only watched part of this past Saturday's episode so far... but it's really good! I haven't finished it yet so don't know if the Mord'Sith plot is resolved in one episode because they are really moving through it fast.. but they portrayed Deana very well and it's the best episode so far imo. Too bad they didn't put this much effort into the Seeker back story as they are doing w/ the Mord'Sith though... Deana even says something like "every time I pick up Agus (w/e the baton is called - forgot) it gives me tremendous pain and I have to learn to control it... it's the same as you seeker." And none who are only watching the TV series would understand that cause they completely skipped that part.

Just finished the newest episode. I enjoyed this one the most, but I don't think it displayed how much Denna loved Richard.

edit: that and the fact that they brought her back to life.

I'm mildly into this show (being free on Hulu helps). I liked some of the artistic touches in the latest episode. Everything just looked... better somehow, color palettes costumes and design was something besides BROWNNNNN and WOOOODDDD. I never read the books so I'm looking solely at the show here. It's keeping my interest but could be better.

There's a lot of fantasy cliche's, but the episode plots usually manage to rise above the Hercules/Xena level and are fairly clever. The show is a lot of LotR mixed with some Harry Potter-esque characters. My biggest problem is the actor who plays Zed, the way he speaks is just so weird and forced. "RI-CHAD!" Is that how he talks in the books or what?

Episodes are definitely getting better each week. When I started to watch it this past Saturday I was all like, "gonna be a lame episode if it's about a spoiled princess and a puppet show." But it was really good and maybe even better since it was a Zedd focused episode. I agree... the end was awesome w/the whole "I told you i was the grand puppet master" lol. Only thing I'm kinda disappointed w/so far (not drawing tie's to the books) is that they have yet to show how powerful Rhal is outside of him controlling vast armies [yatta yatta]. I want to see a display of his awesome magic powers! (like they do in the book!) lol

When I saw where they were going w/ the episode I figured it was going to be a let-down... but it was every bit as good as the last few episodes & I'm looking forward to next weeks episode again... The way the episode played out was totally opposite/side-tracked from the book, but was pretty damn compelling none-the-less. Still want more Darken Rhall scene's though

Wonder how the show is doing rating wise though, I never watch it on Saturday's and always just DvR it... wouldn't be surprised it thats what 90% of other ppl do lol

It's on a Saturday night, they can't expect it to be doing wtf awesome in the ratings. I'd assume it's doing ok though since it hasn't been canceled yet. As for me, I always dvr it and watch it with my brother on Sunday since he works Saturday nights.

was a good episode, not as good as the last few though. I liked the whole orb thing and how it could transfer memories, they just didnt pull off the Sherlock Holmes type of story extremely well. No preview for next episode though... so I'm assuming there wont be one this week
