Thinking of getting one of these with money I got over christmas, but am not 100% sure on how good it is. Any suggestions/knowledge about it?

I've got a friend that swear by the Logitech one, with the weight shifting and all. From what I've experienced it's pretty nice, but sadly I only use a stock mouse on my desktop as I don't really notice a big difference. >_>; I do have an old logitech gaming mouse and I don't think Logitech has ever done me wrong with decent equipment. I haven't had any experience with the mouse you mentioned though, I'm sure someone else here has.
I've had the copperhead before and I returned it to CompUSA the next week to buy a G5. Copperhead felt way too flimsy in my hands. Only thing I see from the G5 is the fact that left handed users are SOL.
i have a g5 and while it's ugly as shit, one of the best mice i ever bought
I'm currently using a G5, am buying another for my sister tomorrow, and have a possibility of picking up a G9 just because of how happy I am with my current one. If that one is even //////SLIGHTLY///// better, it's god of mice.
logitech mx518 ftw

I've had the wireless g7 before but I didn't like the slick, plastic feel it gave. The mx518 has this soft rubber coat on the sides which I think it awesome. Can't say I've tried any razor product though.
The G5 was the first mouse that I purchased that let you push the scroll wheel to each side and use that for key binds. God damn, that's the best thing ever for games that have 5000 abilities to bind, like WoW. You also have the two speed adjustment buttons to use that most mice don't have.
The thing about the G5 is, even with the weight tray out of it it is still a heavy mouse. Not to mention its pretty big. I bought a Copperhead used off of Anandtech for like $25 and I can honestly say that I can't make heads or tails on whether I like it or not. It seems too jumpy sometimes. I like how light it is and how slippery the feet are. I don't like all of the driver bloatware. I must say that I really miss my old Intellimouse Explorer. I wish I didn't smash it to pieces.
The mouse that I really wanna try is the G9 though.

no experience with it but it looks hottttttt
+1 for Logitech G5. It's comfy (for right hand use), works great, and it's durable. I'm on my third keyboard since I got it, hasn't even occurred to me to replace it.
I have a Razer Lycosa keyboard now, which the quality is nice on, but it's spazzed out on me a handful of times too, so I'm not sure on them.
I just got that keyboard for Christmas. I love it, but I've never had anything more than a $15 keyboard to compare it to. Mine hasn't had any problems, but then again, I've only had it for a few days. It definitely feels like a much better keyboard than the noname one I had before.
I've had nothing but my mx510 and mx518 for the last 2 years or so and they are amaszing.
I've been using a MX518 for years, it's a great mouse
I've had a MX518 for about 2 years now. It's definitely worth buying.
I just bought the Logitech Revolution a few days ago, does anybody else have this one? I love the actual mouse and it works great [when it doesn't have issues tracking]. But I'd say that about once an hr it has minor issues tracking and lags up for anywhere from 5-30 seconds before working perfectly again. I just got it, but has anybody else experienced this issue? My other friend who has it says it works great, so wondering if I just got a defected one by chance.. I really do like the functionality of the mouse and want to stick w/the same model. Oh, also bought a new pad at the time I got the mouse... it's one of the gaming pads so that can't be an issue... though I do think it works better on a magazine lol
I absolutely love my MX518, but I've also heard nothing but good things about the G5. You really can't go wrong with either one. I was really torn between the two, but I ended up going for the MX518 because of a lower price ($22 with free shipping) and slightly better Linux support.
I've had a Revolution for several months now at home and work and I love it. The only odd thing I've ever had it do is fuck up scrolling in IE7, but that's because it's IE7 and a giant bag of crap. I've never seen the issues you are describing so I would go with defective and get a new one.
