Wow, someone else who's played it, I never expected it either. I had this as a kid and damn that was fun, though I'm in the same boat about never beating it. I tend to do that with games though, I have about 15 PS2 games I started and haven't finished >.>

Populous was actualy a very popular game, sold quite well, was one of peter molyneax(sp) first games and got 3-4 sequels and recently was ported to the DS.

Intellegent cube was awesome.

Holy Shit. I used to watch the anime back when I was like 6.


I remember trying Starship Titanic but spent all my time telling the butler to fuck off and swearing at the parrot so I never got anywhere.

Populous 3 was great too. Great memories of loading my Shaman in a balloon and letting loose with spells.

Ugh, I hated doing the last boss with Knuckles, although the rest of the game was a fucking cake walk cause you could just glide from one end of the level to the other in under a minute.

JP Version, required the swap trick or a mod insert thingy into the expansion bay to play it, and boy was it fun despite it being only as good as 1997 could allow it. But even though it was slow and clunky i still think its better than any of the Budokais on ps2
