And how do I get Freeze/GA Spells take Pictures of things and it says "Freeze" on the Soul Plate?

Best is a very vague term. What do you want it to beat? Rabbits for example can be super offensive, really evasive or buff as hell tanks.

For spells, if they are not innate casters you will need black magic scrolls.

Best to beat whatever. Like if Mandy is Champion maybe use Wivre for Granite Skin? Or if Elemental is Champion have a Mandy win? Whatever gets Jettons fast

An enspell monk mob (like a mandy) will get you jettons quick at low levels, higher up it's like rock paper scissors so you have to pick what type of mob you want to be good against

I have a Wivre lvl27 atm. but I don't know what to give him? I gave him Defense +15%...

I wanted tons of different pets to do vs. other pets so he was always champion getting jettons

I've got a wivre, level 50, not champion material, but he will beat every contender the AI throws at him. He had Damage resistance bonus as an innate. Gave him Instant Phallanx, Str bonus, Warrior job traits, and one more thing that I can't remember at the moment. He's very aggressive and very wild. Hardly ever uses tp moves, which is fine with me cause I don't like getting side attacked. On average, he hits for just over 100 damage per swing, and tends to take roughly 15 per hit. Average Crippling slam damage is around 350, and Batterhorn is about 250.
I thought about trying to make him very def, somewhat tame to make him use Granite Skin, but it didn't really seem to be worth the effort for my current pet.
If you are going to try that route, I'd suggest making him total offense in the traits you give it. Just realize, you're not going to win against dark elementals, or side attackers if you use the ability early on in the fight, no matter how much def you give it.
