I love how most of the people in this thread are treating the girl in question as some animal that can't make her own decisions. If she's willing to cheat on the guy she's been dating for six years, than who cares if she broke it off? Would you want to marry someone who was disinterested in you enough to fool around with others in the first place?

That was a horrible example, we are talking about him openly pursuing someone and spending money on someone. She is at fault also for being an attention whore but the "if she's not married shes fair game" thing is what set most people off "playa".

The fact that you're already planning on how to make her happy on valentines day says a lot about you. Do you have any idea how many girls out there would want a guy like you? You'll be much happier in the end. Trust me, being in a relationship with someone who wont put nearly as much into it as you will is a painful thing. She clearly will never be that type of person for some reason or another.

Point being: This can't end well. Either she's the type of person who cheats or leaves men for other men, or she's craving attention and wont leave him for you, thus leading you to an inevitable heartbreak.

I think when they say people would like a guy like you, they're not referring to THAT part with the candidate shit, they're talking about the fact that they would maybe want someone that is thinking about how to make them happy months in advance, and willing to do whatever they can and go above and beyond to make them happy. I've known a lot of girls (friends only) that have been in a relationship and they had another guy who's interested. I think you're misinterpreting what most people are saying. Not many people are treating the girl like some animal who can't think for herself, most people are saying they are both pieces of shit. Her for being either the type of person who is leading on another guy while dating someone already, or for being the type that would cheat in a serious relationship. Him for obvious reasons, I think we can all agree he's just a total douche.
