Was it the Slacy slime or whatever? I ended up having to kite the fucking thing for 10 minutes since I couldn't get rid of its coating thing anymore.

Yea, it was Slacy slime. So you just used arrows and what not for 10 minutes while kiting? Maybe I'll try that then.

no im a sorcerer so i just kept up my 2 dots and ran back and forth on the road.

It took about 20minutes for me. Also, so far playing this game has impressed me, I eagerly await the release! Although so far it seems almost identical to WoW it is really blowing me away how beautiful the game is and how smoothly it runs on my pc.

I have no idea why its taking so long. Did you do any port forwarding or disable your firewall(s)? Did you torrent the installer files or get them off the official site?

It could use some more text and such, but the motion blur and picture are awesome. Can't wait for this game.

Does Sorcerer get more fun? It felt like everybody went Spiritmaster on my server but I went the Sorcerer route because I don't care about having something to take aggro, I am precise enough to solo shit on my own with the Restrain/Ice Chains.

I'll probably go Sorcerer once it hits retail I think. I just created a Mage and am having a ton more fun with it, and plan to go the Sorcerer route for the same reasons you pointed out above. Hopefully I can try it out a little before the beta ends.

I like sorcerer cause I dont wanna micro-manage shit. getting 2 mobs on you at once sucks though if stoneskin isnt up.

Yeah, I think it'd also be nice if we could control whether or not we wanted to chain skills. I hate the fact that I can't keep casting Flame Arrow/Burst without activating the chain and doing the insta cast. It's not so bad with Ice Chains since I only cast that once, but sometimes I just want to save the chain skill for later like on my second mob and not use it on the first and have to wait on a freaking cooldown.

Does templar get any better at higher levels? >.> At 14 now and rather disappointed, figured I'de get cures n such but only got bandages and herbs (which share the same timer ; ; ) so far I'm kinda regretting picking templar over gladiator

Also Foras, I did not do anything special and I do not have my ports forwarded. The torrent took me about 48hrs to download... so I don't know what your problem could be

They do let you bind most everything. I set reply to ctrl-r on mine. And I'm pretty sure a quad core isn't gonna help, I can't recall for sure but I'm fairly certain it was only using 1 on my duo core. Game runs pretty good a hair down from maxed on my older 1.86ghz core2duo, 8800GT.

The couple people I've told about the game all say it looks like wow too... I don't see how people can say it looks like wow. The game play is quite similar, a bit slower combat than warhammer, not as slow as ffxi. Controls are very similar to non-SE mmo games.

On the flying thing, you can only fly in a select few zones (namely the Abyss), in the others all you can do is glide.

Remade my character, loving Assassin. As long as the higher levels keep me interested as much as the lowbie levels this'll definitely be my mmo of choice. I really hope it has PVE raids because I read it has world spawns-_-
