1.5 is nerfing stoneskin? doh. I think I'll be on the asmo side again in this beta, as I will in retail too. I've played 1-20 elyos at least half a dozen times now in c-aion from moving to other servers, I'm about tired of it lol. I believe my sorc is Anoni.

I called Amazon and the rep didn't know anything about the beta code that was supposed to be sent. Kept telling me to wait until it ships to get that beta code. Nobody has specified who they got the email from yet though, was it from the company you pre-ordered with or NCSoft? I'm hoping NCSoft because Amazon doesn't sound like they know what the fuck they're doing.

Has anyone done the Prepurchase with NCSoft? The wordage is a bit ambiguous but I think if I do it I'll get a serial code immediately which will allow me to register the game and enter every beta not just this weekends.

btw - I pre-ordered the CE version a month ago, but i went into a GS closer to my house today (like 5 minutes closer from the other one) and wanted to pre-order it over there because I'm lazy... and they said CE pre-orders stopped being sold last week. So, looks like those who haven't gotten the CE pre-ordered are SoL now

For gamestop sure, there are other vendors including NCSoft themselves. I just purchased it from them and it's better than gamestop because they give you the serial code immediately and I will automatically be upgraded to retail version come release and access to all beta, so waiting for a stupid email with the code.

How does preselection work, will that be down the road or is there something I'm missing? Currently when I try to log in it tells me "This character does not have access to Aion at this time" which is because the beta starts tomorrow, I believe.

Correct, it will say you don't have access until they actually open up the servers for beta again. As far as preselection, I assume you mean the early access in which case they haven't said anything about it yet (that I'm aware of), but I'd imagine it'll just be the servers opened to people who preordered for a few days early before it officially goes live, giving us a chance to reserve our names and pick our servers ect.

Pretty sure pre-selection is for headstart. I know the bonus of pre ordering, among other things, is the character pre-selection & head start. But I think it's just poorly written or made to sound more enticing to ppl. Head start is an early character pre-selection, so I think they are one-in-the-same and just broken down to appeal to more ppl

I'm definitely going to try Spirit Master but my side and server are dependent on what others here are most likely going to be doing.

100% going with Asmodian, and the server.. well I don't know that until they actually release the game. I would like it if the asmodian from BG could get all on the same server. Don't have to be all in the same legion. It's all up in the air until the game actually launches.

Going Elyos, not sure if I'm going to do Cleric or Gladiator yet, though. No idea on server until the game comes out.

Elyos all the way, I don't like the Asmo look, areas or lore. Plus I already know what to do for Elyos thanks to C-Aion, so I'll be leveling faster ^^

Thanks, I ended up just cancelling my Amazon order, when I called Amazon they didn't know what the fuck, so I just gave up on them. The game is CE was only 59.99 from the NCSoft store and they automatically registered my code instantly after inputting the necessary information. Pretty painless, I recommend it to those of you who haven't been billed by anothe pre-order company already since it's both cheaper and more efficient, I see no reason to use a 3rd party besides trade-ins or other forms of store credit.

Looks like I'll be trying Elyos this week since I did Asmod in chinese beta. I hate the idea of not having those badass glowing eyes though, Elyos better have some kickass models.

I'm kinda undecided about class selection. I've gotten Templar/Ranger to 10 so far, but also want to give Gladiator/Sorc a try. So far I'm still torn between the 2 I've played, Ranger looks like so much fun once you get to higher levels, but then again.. Templar is Templar!
