Level a new class on anotehr server. Im doing the same thing. Trying out an Elyos RNG. Only problem is I have no idea where to go in Elyos land so itll take a while to level

I'm trying to decide what I want to do tomorrow for the Beta.

Since I had to work the Friday of the last beta, by the time I got home Siel was completely full and it wouldn't even allow me to roll a character there during prime time, so I ended up on Zikel, but all my friends are on Siel... as are most of you guys.

I have a level 19 Sorcerer on Zikel, and I'm contemplating since I know everything in Poeta and Veteron, if I should just roll a character on Siel tomorrow as soon as the servers come up and just shot gun through 1-20 in a day, or if I should just keep leveling my sorcerer.

What I did with my 25 Templar since my guild was on Israphel and my 17 glad was on Siel.

1-20 is easy as hell, do that in a day np. 20-25 may take a few hours - even less if you know the grind spots. Went 23 to 25 the last 2 hours or so of beta last time.

How are you guys doing 1-20 in a day? >_> Even with quests it just seems to take a while.

I did 1-10 over like 8 hours the first time.

Then did it in about 4 hours the 2nd time.

I am sure I will be under 3:30 the 3rd time.

Its just a matter of practice and knowing where things are and what order you get quests in as certain quests you know to go back and grab because you hit level 5 and become available, that and make good use of your Hearthstone thingy(whatever its called).

The one thing that makes it easy is that any class you roll will start at the same place so your use to the area but that might backfire depending on the number of people doing this as 1 starting zone for an entire faction screams clusterfuck.

On my Warrior > Gladiator, I did..
1-10 - 2 hr's
10-17 4 hr's
And then went to work lol

I did 1 to 13 in about 3 hours.

13 to 20 in roughly 5.

20 to 25 in about 6.

This is all while doing gathering and random PVP/dueling and quest fetching and such.

I think the best thing to save time is setting your return skill properly and using it, especially once you get to Verteron. Setting your return to Tolbas Village while having a couple Verteron Citadel Teleport Scrolls on you helps a LOT for leveling in that place.

On my Gladiator I did 1-15 in like 4-5 hours I'm sure. Once I got my entire plate set, I didn't even need to stop to bandage unless I got like 4 mobs on me at once. Gear helps a LOT.

I was laggy on Israphel when i first logged in but changing channels helped

Siel is laggy as fuck in eltnen and the wasteland zone that I forget how to spell. Think I'll just wait 'til a.m. hours to play.

If you're in one of the first 2 zones you can go to menu->support->change channel to a high number and avoid the lag.

I'm in Channel 9, I've seen one other person the entire time I've been online and I'm still lagging like crazy, C-Aion is less laggy than this.

I didnt have any lag on the new server. I tried to make a RNG on Siel and it wouldnt let me because of the new characters on new servers shit.

Rangers is meh so far. I got to level 13 in about 7 hrs. I rolled Elyos this time so didnt know what to do exactly which made it take a bit longer. My problem qith RNG at this point is that the DPS from the bow is too low and I dont have enough burst to do damage quickly. Anyone know when you get some good burst skills to make it faster? So far meleeing for most of the time is faster than ranged.

I find that the problem you mentioned to also be a big one for anyone interested in RNG.

You have to melee till like 20 until you actually play the class like a Ranger.

I just went Assassin but Asmodian so it also took me a bit longer because I only knew the area up to level 5.

Assassin is almost 12, I took a break for about 2 hours because lag was getting bad and I needed a break and so far the class is a lot of fun :D

Seriously where is this special exp spot you found man. It's been taking me a week to go from 23-25. I'm just about completely out of quests to do right now, can't find rifts so i can't do the 2 infiltration ones.

Theomobos, Avaricious Zombies, the fucks die so fast and they give like 4-6k exp a kill and can do about 800k/hour easily on my Templar.

hmm i'll try them, i did them for the quest, weren't too bad, i know the burning trees are pretty good exp, i could generally take one out and only lose about 10% of my hp and I think those gave 7-9k exp.

I'm thinking once I find a decent grinding spot I'll hang out there on my Spiritmaster. My DP bonus makes my pet a fucking god for 10 minutes and I can get like 2500 DP in those 10 minutes if I kill shit non stop and just use it over and over again. With it up I'm usually killing on level mobs in about 5-10 seconds, it's so fucking awesome.
