Was going well, I got 6 bars in like 15-20 minutes, then I got a nice 45 second lag spike and I went from full HP to dead from shit I couldn't even see. I just shut the game off at that point. Really dissapointing I can't even enjoy the beta =/

Geez, you guys grind so fast compared to gladiator. Could just be because I don't have my dual-wield stigma yet. The price doubled so i'm holding off on it for now.

I went ot the place Leb suggested for grinding to lvl 25, since he got 800k/hour there, and I got about 300k in 1 hour. It's not that I don't have the killing power, its just that after every fight I have to sit down and rest my HP.

Once I hit 24 I'll probably head to the Area Leb mentioned.

At 22 though, monkeys are giving 6800 XP a piece, and my spirit can kill one in about 10 seconds and I'm not far behind myself. I just wish I could keep my mana up, even spamming Mana Powder on cooldown, Energy Absorption, and chugging the occasional pot I still run low a bit and have to go back to killing one mob at a time till I mana back up.

I'm really enjoying Spiritmaster, and I think I've pretty much settled on playing it or Ranger for release. The thing that kind of turned me off from Gladiator, even though it's probably the most fun of all the classes I've played, the only reason it's fun to me is because I get to beat on shit with this giant hunk of metal, and the fact that dual wield seems to be the way to go 20+ just kinda turns me off from the class cause I think dual wield is dumb (plus the animations don't look nearly as cool).

What were you grinding on that dropped the stigma? I'm not sure if it's the thing to do in 1.5 but I know it is in 1.1 and 1.2.

I was grinding the pirates on the shipwreck in Verteron. A friend of mine saw a SM stigma drop in the krull area too. I was getting a ton of stuff grinding, several green armor.

Also, idk if this is well known for other mobs as well or what, but I came across this today. There's this Rippleworms floating around the Holy Grounds. I remembered something about an attack boost while flying, so I wanted to try it out. To my surprise, the mob kept running as I attacked until the last 10% when it started to fight back, so I tried it a few more times. Once, it started to attack me back after 50%, but I think it was because I chased it onto uneven land. Here, I was able to fight it from start to finish with it not wanting to hit me once.

I think basically, the mob isn't really "flying", the game just makes it look that way. So when you do fly, even if it's 2 inches off the ground, the mob runs away. After the video, I accidentally aggro'd another one, I hit my fly button and it instantly ran away. I know this glitch/exploit isn't anything major, but can help kill/exp somewhat I guess.

and sorry quality sucked D: I played at 1920x1080 and used halfmode, but I haven't slept... and I shouldn't have recorded that way lol. I meant to lower my ingame resolution instead.

You know if this applies to outdoor RAID BOSSES its fatty epics for you and all your friends who know this trick?

Maybe I have been playing too long but when stuff like this pops up in WoW they patch it like that day or week so people can't do it.

This is pretty big IMO as we could be soloing bosses in some form.

Its not major. Most outdoor bosses I've seen are in no flight zones, and they have ranged moves that will rip you to pieces. If you try doing this to elites in other areas, they'll knock you out of flight and then one shot you the second you touch the ground.

Also, that doesn't even work against the other mobs in the area he was in, I guarantee you if he tried that vs wind spirits they would have absolutely ruined his day lol.

Usually if you're in flight (or in any situation where the mob can't attack you) the mob will either run away or leash. There are only a few *very* specific places where this isn't the case, and you certainly can't kill bosses with them.
