If you ordered off steam, your already given your CD key for the game I believe.

Bah freaking Spiritmaster nerfs, I wonder if the Earth Spirit damage reduction will make it better to stick with Fire for leveling now, if Earth spirit does too little now to solo its own mobs as fast as you.
Sorcerer is looking sexier and sexier lol.
I think the online orders will email the codes?
What ever happened to the changes to critical hits for certain weapons (like polearm and bow) I heard about awhile back? I looked around a bit on google but I couldn't find anything. Has it not happened yet or what?
It's in the 1.5 update notes I think.
Last I checked it wasn't the actual critical rates they changed. Just how much you crit for.
Bow/GSword/Polearm raised from 2.0 to 2.5 with Sword/Dagger dropping to 2.0 from 2.5 multipliers iirc.
Hmm, I see. I was hoping it would be a bit more significant than that. I was a tad disappointed to hear that Gladiators dual-wielded daggers and such, was hoping this would make using Polearms more feasible. Aw well.
Dualwielding Dagger/Sword is for PvE, Polearm is for PvP
Dual Daggers on a Gladi was pretty beastly at some point which ended up being the main reason behind nerfing one handed weapon crits apparently. EVEN THOUGH Gladi couldn't do shit if they were kited and could barely scratch a Templar and was really only "useful" against Assassins. Lol
The one handed nerf is un-needed I think, although the two-handed buff is.
There were two nerfs: The crit nerf, and the Godstone nerf.
The crit "nerf" really isn't that bad, simply lowered the crit mod by .2 for one handers and increased the crit mod by .2 for two handers/bows, apparently.
The godstone nerf on one handers was definitely needed. With capped attack speed gear and say...a daggers delay, the higher percent godstones were procing almost every 2-5 seconds...each. Which doesn't sound too bad until you find out there are 1s stun godstones, or 10s bind (doesn't break with damage), or 10s silence...that's not counting all of the 10-20% chance damage stones.
They lowered the procrate for offhand godstones, which is a step in the right direction, though I'm not sure on how much it was lowered by.
So to all you SMs out there. I have a question, What is the benefit to using a spellbook over an orb, or vice versa. Is there a specific one that SM should be using as their main weapon. I'm not quite sure which stats on your weapon have an effect on your spirit, if it does at all.
Spellbooks have greather magic accuracy and ranged auto attack, orbs have higher magic boost and a melée auto attack that hits for more than book.
For leveling a lot of people go orb so they can deal more auto attack damage while thier pets tank, also adds more mb which will increase your spell damage (not always noticable on dots). Personally I prefer books for the spell acc while exping, a resisted snare sucks ><
Endgame you'll probably use both; macroing in books for your CC abilities, orb for dd spells.
I had the pleasure of a blind invite from some Chinese players while i was just running around. I had no clue what was going on but we started doing the Tursin Outpost group quests. Needless to say the lack of communication was interesting.
I love copy pasting Chinese phrases from the guide on Aion and then see them try to respond back in Engrish. I wish I could remember some of the things people said but its been awhile now. I do remember laughing a lot though.
A few days ago someone ran up to me and only said Hi. I said hi back, and then they ran away.
The most broken english I've gotten is someone asking me if we were doing Krall Desecration but we just finished for the day. It wasn't terrible but you could tell he didn't speak english very well.
I had a random mage walk up to me and ask for help with the quest "Where's Tutty?" yesterday or the day before lol, gave me a few random items for helping him XD
I just keep getting random invites form chinese people, not even a whisper with broken english explaining what it's for and I was only on my Lv12, so no group quests. Lol
Preorder and CE Items confirmed to be across account.
Hey guys, I know you're possibly confused about this as we haven't made any announcements yet. I can however confirm that items will indeed be available to all characters across your account. For both the pre-order items and the Collector's Edition items, you can receive these items for every Aion character you create on the account. We will have more information on how it actually works for you shortly.

Rich!
Well damn, that means there's no way they'll be sellable (since the Lv.50 wings are vastly superior, and there will likely be better earrings)
