Problem with my new iPod

Got an iPod shuffle, and whenever I restart my computer while the iPod is still plugged in, POST hangs. I went into BIOS and fixed a problem where my bootable device priority was set to CD -> HD, corrected it to be solely booting from the hard drive.

However, POST still hangs with the ipod connected. When the ipod isn't connected, it does not. Advice please :D

Make sure USB is set below your primary drive partition in the boot order. You have HD selected, but it might just be detecting the iPod as a USB hard drive. Just a thought.
