Not only do I believe she should be payed for the full ten years, roughly $400k (since that's what they intended on her doing anyway) she should be paid damages.

The article also states that they were paying her $45/month. Considering what happened that's awful. I don't even expect them to have actually paid her the $45/monthly.

By that logic, being paid for the full 10 years, she would still owe 8 years of work.

Law suits arent all about what's been earned it's about damages and intents. You dont think any infamous lawsuits against companies for millions were actually entirely for

No, I'm not saying she shouldn't have been awarded the 75k, I'm just saying that it technically isn't enforceable (that exact contract i mean). 75k is much more than she was ever going to make in 2 years at that age and now she's doing the foster thing and seems to be doing fine. I just think paying that full contract worth (especially when only getting 20% of the work contracted for) is a bit extreme.

Edit: Though I do feel it should have been counted under something like federal kidnapping or some other shit that would have given them a much longer prison term before deporting them.

I think that you are unaware of the long term issues that an unproper childhood can cause. Lack of education and social skills are more of a loss than the money she should have been earning during those two years.
