You're so dense it's embarrassing.
- What qualifies a 'people'? One could just so easily make superficial and ignorant statements questioning the notion of a 'Jewish people'.
- Why are arab nations so hesitant to take a more direct stand with the Palestinians?
These are important questions to consider if one is serious about solving the conflict.
There two ways to help them. By sending humanitarian groups in to help them, because Israel clearly won't even though it controls both its seas and skies, but we already know Israel won't even allow that, and the second option would be to attack what is strangling them, which would be Israel, but we already know what happens with that. So basically, Israel is the one who's getting in the way, so scoffing and saying that they won't help them is funny, when Israel is the one that makes it quite difficult.Everyone's willing to use them for political gain but no one wants to lift a finger to help them.
The Arab world is dominated by corrupt family dictatorships and puppet/client states.
They will tow the establishment lines as usual: Israel's right to exist, terror is bad, Israel has a right to defend itself, blah blah blah.
There is no reciprocity. No historical retrospection; i.e., looking at similar conflicts throughout history to gain some wisdom however in the hope that said conflict(s) would be demystified after the passage of time and (hopefully) a resolution.
Yea, i remember that.we took the land from Jordan and Egypt
It is illegal under international law to acquire territory by war. It is illegal to transfer a population to occupied land (colonization).
One of the conditions Israel was admitted into the UN as a nation-member, was that it honor the right of return. It hasn't - while at the same time setting aside racially-exclusive (Jews only) laws and programs like the National Jewish Fund.
There are all sorts of violations by Israel of international law and world court rulings - all fully documented by the UN. Not to mention the countless human rights abuses.
Now, as to the 67' war. I recall going to a lecture in college about the conflict and it was brought up. I do remember hearing another point of view but I can't regurgitate it on the spot.
This pretty much ends the argument.

Israel Strike Outside U.N. School Kills 30 People - WSJ.com
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Israel air strike killed 30 outside of a UN school. It's a good example of Israel exercising prudence and judgment when choosing targets in its retaliatory attacks.
Man, I'm really upset now. shit like this happening and people rationalize it by blaming the deaths on Hamas, as if that somehow makes the deaths any less tragic. abstract it to arabs killing arabs and all the sudden things are peachy? fuck that, this is completely awful and ridiculous blame game aside, in reality the only way to stop it is for Israel to stop the current attacks.
I think the only way that will happen is if the US steps in and slaps Israel's hand. After all, we created this monster.
I seriously believe Israel secretly holds something of some ridiculous significance to the security of the planet as we know it. The U.S. knows this, which is why their hesitant on any actions against them. At this point, this is the only logical explanation to me.
Duh! They're friends with Jesus.seriously believe Israel secretly holds something of some ridiculous significance to the security of the planet as we know it.
Gotta love the Israeli response. The explosion was caused by the ammo stores within the school. And they claimed that they were firing rockets from the school.
I am by far and away, not backing up the Israeli response but I look at it in a bit of a different light. If Mexico was standing on the border firing rockets into Phoenix, wouldn't we have completely obliterated Mexico by now despite the world clamoring for us to stop?
