2 questions...

So I just a ps3 for xmas and I bought LBP only game I have so far... 2 things ive found a little confusing.

1) Occasionally I will be running and ill just stop. When I press left or right to run, sackboy will point left or right. A few seconds later he will just pick up running again. Is there a specific way to make him point? Maybe im hitting another button without realizing it? Ive been playing for a few days and never realized it happening until last night.

2) Is there a way to create your own costumes? I see a lot of people have levels with costume galleries, but all you get is a sticker or just a screenshot out of them. And how do you create your own stickers?

1. YOu are hitting the R2 button on accident
2. You can create your own stickers with the eye toy thing. I prefer to put together an absurd outfit and get the sticker with the sunglasses, make them ridiculously oversized, and stick them to my face. There's lots of ways to customize a costume, but actually making individual boyd, neck, feet, etc isn't possible. They gotta make money on DLC ya know!

I have a question.

I've seen community levels with glass that's practically invisible, hot pink, or electric blue. Am I missing colors of glass? I have the 5 or so from the Wedding Theme and that's it.

Doh! figured I had to be hitting something. Not used to the ps3 controller where the L2,R2 buttons kinda "wrap" around towards the bottom. Thanks so much!

And yes I just discovered i could stick objects onto myself. As for making stickers, basically my question is this... im trying to turn my sackboy into my paladin, and I wanted to make a bahamut's mask (object or sticker) to plop on my face. Like for example, on one of the custom levels I picked up a teenage mutant ninja turtle "under-shell" sticker that you can just stick on your stomach and it looks like you have a shell on.

and @ priran maybe use the 5 glass colors and recolor them with a paint gradient?

Side note... is there a way to recolor objects or costumes? I know you can stamp colors onto costumes via paint stickers or whatever, but im thinking more like different colored bandana on the ninja costume or something like that. From what ive seen you are either changing the color of the entire head piece (if you make the sticker really big) or just a square if you dont make it big.

Some items change color depending on your player color

unfortunately as far as I know, you can't customize player color, you have to choose from Mm's presets.

What I meant by invisible glass is that I've played community levels where it's apparent that a "jump" is really just a vehicle following an invisible track, or where the creator has created an invisible platform over something dangerous like poison gas or spikes. You can tell it's glass because you slide around on it.

I still have no idea how it's done, I assume it's some combo of Basic glass (which is light blue) and background or lighting trickery.

i think it's ice that's slippery, not glass. but i could be wrong.

If you make the glass thin or small enough it becomes invisible. Works with most of the other materials too.
