They were 12-2 at the time, not exactly a make or break game for them. As far as staying out, no thanks, captain football, I believe I'll keep right on posting.

Edit- TN and Indy would shit all over your little NFC South btw.
I don't think Indy could beat Carolina on the road, and Atlanta would give them fits considering their lack of run stopping, and the way Turner moves the ball. Jacksonville was awful this year, blame whoever you want, they were 5-11 this year, and vastly overrated. The Colts didn't score 42 all year, Houston DID have the 3rd best offense, with the 22nd ranked defense. The two teams that had better offenses... New Orleans, and Denver.

Please bring some facts, not just ramblings about what you think you saw.

The Colts would beat that OVERRATED Carolina D into oblivion.

You just keep on posting and making yourself look foolish. Home field advantage is the largest victory you can achieve during the regular season, and to call it meaningless or call it "not a make or break game" is fucking retarded.

Also noticed my Bills are bringing back Jauron, I'm personally lukewarmish happy about this but there's a small revolt going on at twobillsdrive.com, it's funny to watch how the people with 8000 posts on a football msg board rant about how they're going to stop following the team forever.

Indy would beat the fucking brakes off of us. Reggie Wayne would take Ken Lucas' lunch money on any and every play. That would leave Richard Marshall on Clark and Gamble and Harris on Harrision.

Still leaving Gonzlez open and Addai ripping us a new one every time they were in 3rd and short. God help us if we got a lead, Fox would sit on it thinking punting to Manning with 4 mins to go in the game up by 2 is guaranteed win.

Sorry but you're wrong on all accounts.

Right now, I'm still on the Giants as the best team in the NFL. Following them I would have the Colts and the Panthers. But anyway, this started with the claim that the AFC South is a weak division overall? If I had to rank divisions considering all 4 teams in each, it would look something like..

    1. NFC South (Car 9/10, Atl 7/10, TB 6/10, NO 6/10: total 28 )
    2. NFC East (NYG 9/10, Phi 7/10, Dal 6/10, Was 5/10: total 27)
    3. AFC South (Ten 8/10, Indy 8/10, Hou 6/10, Jac 4/10: total 26)
    4. AFC East (Miami 7/10, NE 7/10, NYJ 5/10, Buff 5/10: total 24)
    5. AFC North (Pit 8/10, Balt 7/10, Cin 3/10, Cle 3/10: total 21)
    6. NFC North (Minn 7/10, Chi 5/10, GB 4/10, Det 1/10: total 17)
    7. AFC West (SD 7/10, Den 5/10, Oak 3/10, KC 2/10: total 17)
    8. NFC West (Ari 6/10, SF 3/10, Sea 3/10, StL 2/10: total 14)

Man, I hate I've been missing this, this conversation is golden.

FYI - I would take Indy over anyone in the NFC South 8 out of 10 times. Fox's defense plays baby-shit soft DB coverage, and Atlanta has allowed 347 yards per game on defense, against teams that don't really have explosive power per-say.

Just putting the facts out there.

Edit: Coming from such a Carolina fan....it really pains me to say these things....I need a fucking hug

Micheal turner gets no mention or props?!?! He's the difference between those 2 high scoring teams. Atlanta will win that game on his back.

Ravens -dolphins eagles -vikings can go either way but I think ravens and eagles pull it out. Eagles are really the only defense that can give the giants trouble so they better win to make a interesting game.

And yes The Only defense. Titans will be be vanquished by Peyton. Bank it!

Hahaha, oh lord. Colin Cowherd is gonna be sitting in for Mike & Mike in the Morning tomorrow morning. Four hours of him.. granted it's about the same as just adding in the mysterious first hour with his other three at a later time, but him at 5 AM? What has ESPN done (to quote him) rofl.

The funniest part was when he was talking about "the upper level mustaches" pitching him the idea...

"So Colin, we have this great opportunity for you. On New year's day you can have the Mike and Mike timeslot. It'll be great publicity for the show".

Colin "It's 5am on New year's day. You think people are awake at 5am on New Year's day. Hell, they may still be awake from New year's eve, all 5 of the listeners nation wide...Don't try to sell me on the idea, you sign my checks, just come out and tell me that I have to crawl out of bed at 3am and work on New year's day, I'm a loyal employee".

Of course he said it much better than I did, but it was fucking hilarious. Needless to say, I won't be awake to hear it. Maybe I'll tivo.

I used to like Mike and Mike, and then they started doing skits/imitations/etc that aren't really all that funny. I loved the Tony Kornheiser radio show and hated when they replaced him with Cowherd.

Oh, and I hate when Mike and Mike would talk about baseball during football/basketball seasons...

Erik Kusselius is/was easily the best radio personality. Colin is a close second just because of the style/material he covers. Dan Patrick was fantastic as well. Van Pelt could be good with more than an hour.

I'd love to see a Manning v Manning Super Bowl, I think that matchup has tons of sex appeal. Go Colts!

You mean the one where d ward rang up 215 yards on them. Yeah that did happen. And i guess getting run over does qualify as interesting

Lol, Pennington won the "comeback player of the year" for the 2nd time in three years. That sounds so strange!

Yeah we did get ran all over. Kinda forgot about that. But Eli did have a shitty day in passing production. Ill take Carolina on the win if they make it that far.

I have a question about that. If the Giants is the end-all beat-all team that everyone says, how come that game wasn't such a blowout? It seems like they are missing something to get them over that hump from being "very good" to "great"

    And its not Plaxico...

Agreed. Kusselius is pretty awesome, and his show today with Linda Cohne(sp) was pretty awesome. Colin's great because of his style, though I don't agree with a lot of what he says. He does know how to make bets against the spread though, can't argue that. I still listen to the Dan Patrick show on SI's site. He's still great imo. SVP is pretty awesome. I love his honesty, and when he's doing his picks, he always picks the underdog, lol. He tends to imitate the south a lot, and as a person from the south, I still find it hilarious.

I'll be up in the mornin' though. Can't wait to see what Cowherd is like at 5AM my time in HD.

Also, I don't have as much of a problem with Mike and Mike as most do, they don't really bother me. I just find 'em amusing at times. I've loved their time away though, so we get guest sit-ins.

If by "material" you mean stolen shit he didn't make up and just takes off the internet, and by "style" you mean as an ill-informed asshat, then yes, Colin is that guy.

Remember kids, if its on a blog on the internet, its okay to plagiarize because hey, it's the internet!

...And if someone dares to criticize you, have your listeners DDoS their site!

And to top it off, he thinks Jose Conseco should be in the hall of fame because he's infamous.

The man does not belong anywhere near a radio station.
