Yeah like how the Clevland Browns raped the Giants? That Giants team? They still are the best team in the NFL, losing to them somehow made us sub par? lol

Teams lose, his point was still good.

my point was the teams right now in the conference aren't known for thier run defense besides philly.

As for not being great I know what u mean it does seem like they need something cuase they definitely don't have an air of invincibility around them. meh who knows

The 215 yards that Ward ran is kind of bloated too since like 70ish of that came in overtime on 3 large runs. I think if both teams meet again it will be radically different since I dont think Ward has any chance of duplicating that performance any more than Williams has a chance to score 4 rushing TDs again. Both defenses will be well rested, I see it being more of a defensive struggle and how well the Giants can contain Smith.

Mind you we were without Damione Lewis and Maake Kemoeatu, our 2 starting tackles. Mind you, there is never an excuse to give up 500 yards rushing in a game, but you cant point to a single game as downfall. We lost to the best team in the NFL. Hypothetically using that logic "I can say loleagles tied the lolbengals, fucking fail looooool. They made Benson look like Walter Payton!" but were not that stupid. I could say "lolGiants made Derek Anderson look like John Elway", but I didn't.

That's what im saying lol. I'm in Charlotte btw, so my Panthers losing to what many see as the best team in the NFL is an embarrassment? We can stop the Giants, teams lose and learn, why is a Giants vs Panther rematch any different?

Yeah im not trying to be Anti-Giants or anything....its just....they are missing something. Ringing up 200+ running yards on the Panthers is not shabby at all (well against any team in the NFL these days is impressive) and with no turnovers from Eli that game (17/27 1 TD i believe he was) it just seems like it would of been more one sided

I guess with stats like that I pretty much answered my question...their D is lacking. Im awesome.

Also the Browns thing is lulz

^ I was referring to this statement. See how changing around a random name and a team makes it funny. Yet it still makes no sense? The Browns game was a pure fluke. Giants were the best before it imo and the best after it still.

A Browns fan may think differently of course.

I so repressed the memory of that game I had totally forgotten how many yards they passed for on them.

Sooooo...who's crazy enough to choose eli as their gridiron challenge Qb. I'm a giants fan and I don't think i'd ever pull the trigger on that

I'd imagine no Browns fan thinks much of their team right now

This year's wildcards are a joke. MIN, ATL, PHI, ARI, don't even deserve to be in playoffs, they have all played so stupidly this year.

IND, BAL, and MIA are the only wild card teams that deserve to even be were they are.

I just hope the Super Bowl is IND, MIA, or PIT VS. NYG

How does Atlanta, at 11-5, not deserve it? You listed every single NFC playoff team excepting the Giants and Panthers as being undeserving? I'd like to know which other 4 teams you would pick to lose to apparently your Giants. Was it the amazing Cowboys or Buccaneers?

Also, you forgot to say San Diego didn't deserve it too D:

I say Philly and Atlanta deserve to be there. Falcons are no fluke, no matter how people try to slice it and I for one HATE to admit that seeing as how they are in the same conference.

Arizona you can make a case for because they basically folded the tent once they got in 4 weeks ago. Eagles didn't do anything but his a bad stretch like most teams do, they have seemed to work the kinks out for the most part. One thing you know from watching the NFL is that what you did is 16 games is now moot and irrelevant.

This is now a 4 game season and everyone is 0-0, winner take all. FUCK! I just used a John Fox line. Someone fire me quick!

One of the NFL's top 3 leading rushers in Min, and the rookie of the year (by a landslide) in Ryan out of Atl?

Come on now, they're not that bad.

I'd have to say a Carolina vs NYG rematch would be pretty fun. We'd have both our starting tackles back and we'd be pretty well rested.

Kinda surprised Delhomme didn't win comeback player of the year y'know considering he had a major fucking surgery and was the only NFL player to come back from Tommy-john.

    But whatever.

Antonio Bryant would've been my pick personally. Everybody forgot about him when his defense turned to crap the last few weeks though

Cadillac, does coming back for 3 games count? There's always the 2011 season I suppose.

But yea, I dislike Jake and all but he had major surgery on his Elbow. We were so concerned that we had a "possible" trade with NE I believe to hope up and get Matt Ryan had Atlanta drafted Glen Dorsey instead like they intended to do. Glad to see him back and healthy, I just wish it was for another team

Lets go Matt Moore! Not really, but yeah.

Fuck the Giants, I am actually a Vikings fan but I am so disgusted with there inability to hire a decent quarterback that can learn not to turn the ball over.

Don't get me started on Panthers, Atlanta is more deserving than Carolina, out of Carolina's 12 wins I think 2 of them were against team that had a winning record at the time of the game.

Honestly I think i am just disgruntle against the NFC in general right now.

If you would take just about any of the teams in the NFC and give them the schedule the Steelers have had this year they would all be sitting with 5-11 and 6-10 records right now.

It's tough to say that any of the wildcard matchup teams don't deserve to be there, but I'll give the fact that those teams, especially philly and arizona can be very streaky/shaky. But the thing about teams like that is they can easily surprise everyone in the playoffs. If McNabb has a solid postseason, philly can do very well. If Turner and Peterson have the sorts of days they're capable of (125+ yards), they can hang with anyone. Those teams have more "if they can's" then others, but I think they'll be entertaining.
