POL Server Problems?

I'm pretty sure FFXI has at least 3 servers..and if one character can get in but another can't..it sounds like there's a problem with people getting to the character server 100% of the time.

Which seems that the recent earthquakes likely DID knock something loose.

Now to play the waiting game till it gets fixed. Tired of attempting to log on and just start from sqare 1 after zoning, or able to log on mules onry. At least I now I know not to waste my time and have to deal with Shitcast's Costumer service. Dx

I was on no problem for 5 hours, then all of the sudden it did the same error as earlier to me WTF is wrong, i was in the middle of an NM kill.

I've been having it too, takes forever to log in, and once i'm in, it randomly R0s and kicks me off. Funny thing is, I called POL and all I get is a busy signal, must be pretty bad to have their whole 800 number that busy.

I am concerned that after a whole day with this problem and clearly im not alone, POL has no info about this error!

EDIT: Assuming that all affected characters are in the First character slot, there could be a problem with only the first character in your content IDs, I logged onto my mule as well and stayed on for well over ten minutes. (No DC, I got bored running in circles in Jeuno)

All 3 of my mules get the same problem but from other peoples post it seems their mules work just fine! I hope I dont miss tomorrow's Einherjar run because if I do I will be forced to lvl pup/drk just to show how emo I have become!

I get that error when I log on hubbys chara with xbox. But it still lets me log on his account to the POL screen after afew attempts.

And it's not charas in first slot only. When Hubby was trying to log on his mule before work, he couldn't log on that, and he would DC when he zones. I however can get on mine, just haven't tried zoning yet;;;
