Grow up with a condition that puts you in the hospital on days where the polution gets even remotely bad and come back and tell me how 'unobtrusive' any kind of smoke is. When the police ask you for ID when writing you the citation, tell them to fuck themselves. They cant force you to give ID for civil infractions apparently.

But if they smell pot, that's now probable cause, and they can search anything around you under that pretense that you could have a criminal amount on you. At which point they search, cite, and confiscate your shit, while putting on your record that you were non-cooperative. Which will then follow you with ANY citation you get down the road and try to appeal in court.

So yes, you can refuse to give ID, and spend the next 8 hours sitting around while they search your shit, OR, you can give them id, and they give you a ticket, and take away your shit, and you go buy more an hour later.

For awhile they even had ads on the radio saying "We have salvia available for purchase now!" etc I dunno if it's AS promoted now, but they still have it.

Considering that any private property is within its rights to ban smoking, I don't see where the 'right' exists to violate the rules of the establishment. This is as true in Washington as it is true in California.
