Where the hell would you move to? Antarctica?
Where the hell would you move to? Antarctica?
Salvia is in the process of becoming scheduled, and is already in some states.
And while he wanders around, blinded by the snow, he stumbles upon a great marijuana plant the size of a redwood! He immediately takes shelter inside the great base of the plant. There he died a few hours later...
High off his fucking ass.
"If we're gonna die, we're gonna die high! YOPO!~"
I'll tell you what didn't kill him.
Smoking.
Kiro, why don't we talk more?
The most amusing thing about this statement is that you've likely run into plenty of people in your lifetime who had recently smoked, and you didn't even know it.
Not every person who smokes pot is a pothead. The same thing applies to alcoholic beverages. If you drink a wine cooler, are you a drunk? No. You're not going to reek of booze, you won't be stumbling around like an idiot, and you'll be perfectly presentable in practically any situation.
Just as well, someone who smokes a bowl of indica isn't going to behave like a stereotypical pothead, as they're likely using sativa. Indica is the type patients use for medical ailments, as it does not create the mental high, but rather, a soothing body high. I'm betting you didn't know that if you could make such a statement.
As for the smell stuff mentioned on the first page, I do agree that good stuff has a very strong smell, but if you're in a ventilated area, it's still a "background odor". It's not unrelentingly in your face unless -- as aforementioned -- someone specifically blows it at you.
Also:
I'd be willing to wager that marijuana smoke will not affect you in the same way. Pollution and weed smoke are very, very different things.Originally Posted by Correction
If I recall, I think weed smoke is less harmful than tobacco, but I'm not sure how much so. Using a water bong/vaporizer makes it better (Or more accurately, less bad) than smoking it straight from a joint/cigarette.
EDIT: Wiki to the rescue:
However, recent studies have shown that using a vaporizer for cannabis consumption appears to eliminate almost all of the health problems and objections related to cannabis use.[21][22][23][24][25]
See that, there are FIVE sources, so you know its hella true.
Yeah, I've read shit like that here and there, but being a pot user, my short term memory goes boink every once and a while. Another thing I recall is being told the worst part of the cigarette for you is the filter. Validity?
Edit: Also kudos on blowing his pseudo science out of the fucking water.
Although I haven't heard anything on the filter being the worst part, I don't believe that's true. I did try to Google about it just now, and didn't really find anything like that, either, except for the fact that some filters contained asbestos way back when. The ingredients of a cigarette filter are actually pretty simplistic, mostly consisting of a plastic that's used in clothing -- it's what creates the cotton-like appearance of a filter.
Nonetheless, these may be interesting reads, as they'll at least help to educate on filters a bit:
HowStuffWorks "What does the filter on a cigarette do?"
Cigarette Litter --Filters
Considering the former link, I'd say that you could argue that a filter is harmful simply because of what it doesn't do -- it doesn't protect you.
And thank you for the compliment.
Well I do know that Marlboro and Camel use different types of filters, Camel's are purely cotton, but Marlboros/cheaper brands supposedly use fiber glass for theirs. Quick google confirmed this. I guess the thought of smoking through fiber glass would cause people to jump to conclusions.
Also I wish someone would call bullshit on 'light' and 'ultra light' cigarettes, if I have one more high horse riding fag telling me that he isn't as bad of a smoker as I am because he smokes ultra lights, I'll fucking snap. The worst part is, they taste SO BAD. It's like health companies jumping on the bandwagon and making terrible tasting 'health supplements'. People don't know shit about shit and start sniping people down from their ivory towers when they have no fucking clue what they're putting in their body. I smoke, but at least I don't try to bitch out around it, if I'm gonna put cancer in my body, I'm not gonna do it by gagging away on some trailer trash Marlboro Ultra Light.
Indeed, light cigarettes and their kin are total BS. As mentioned in the first article, they're just letting you suck in more air. They're still as unhealthy, specifically because the smoker will consume as much nicotine as they need (unless they're disciplined enough to resist).
I've never smoked, but my significant other used to, and would voice similar complaints to yours.
Those seem like a pretty nice cash cow for Big Tobacco though, don't they? Not as much Nicotine in a pack, so they consume more. I've got to hand it to the corps, they do one of the best jobs of systematically raping their clients I've seen since the Mongols.
Quick question, if I use a vaporizer, can I smoke inside my house without the smell going everywhere? I understand that there should be no smoke, but does the THC released have a smell?
Still smells some with a vapo. Not nearly as much as other ways of smoking though. Plus you can take the weed you used in the vapo and smoke it again later. :O ZOMG RECYCLING~
I normally just read and don't post but... don't smoke it, get a crock pot and simmer that used bud in some butter for a bit. kinda tastes bad once its been vap'ed, but cookies are always tastyStill smells some with a vapo. I smoked some weed that had previously been vaporized for the first time a couple weeks ago. It was one of the harshest hits (and this was out of a nice dual-chamber bong) that I'd ever had.
That being said, I got pretty fucking high.
If you're getting high off weed you've vapo'd your vapo is failing you.
