PLD/RDM: Why?

You don't ever stay capped at hate, even /NIN. Same reason NIN/DRK works so well, they recap themselves over and over again with their spellspam.

Yes, but you don't need to spam dispel to keep hate capped, there are other spells like poison/blind/bind/flash/cure that will do the job. OR, you can idle and actually do damage and use atonement for enmity and contribute to a faster fight.

Hi, you can still do that /RDM. The difference here is that LR and SE wear off in 20 seconds, whereas Barspells keep building VE on top of each other.

Garuda the avatar fight, garuda the HQ avatar fight, or garuda the server?

pld/rdm on KB is fail. pld/rdm on aspid will work, but again is not the best choice.

Garuda the server and it works rather well on KB its alot better then /war or /nin because u can build CE/VE alot faster ad hold it better then /war or /nin

Works much better than /war in my opinion. You'll be able to hold hate a lot better, and I'm pretty sure you really shouldn't have a problem with keeping away from him, just blink on casts if it is a problem.

pld/rdm makes kitting alot more fun for me on KB and more efficient for holding hate while blms nule the shit of it

I tried it few times on ks99 behe too but didn't like it. I had to stay too much time on cast range to build hate, and thus in meteor range.

I think most of the difficulty in doing PLD/RDM has to do with the terrain. There's nowhere to turn around and there aren't any flat surfaces sans inside the arena where you don't want to be anyway. In Behemoth's Dominion, it's flat everywhere with the occasional obstacle (tree branches etc), making it a lot easier to predict the exact distant from you and your target, thus making it easier for you to cast and run.

Yeah, I gotta agree with Merona here. Terrain makes a huge difference for kiting, on any sub job or main job even.

As for kandiekane's comments, I think the general PLD community knows the difference between having fun and being a liability. Although I wouldn't be surprised to see some random PLD trying out RDM sub on Cerb, just because they read it on BG. I hope they used some common sense before being such a douche.

I was thinking that too, but didn't wanna post it for fault of being inaccurate. It's quite possible. I've only been TP burning it in the past two years and haven't kited it in so long so I can't remember that far back lol
