Here's one that I came up with for my WHM. It's an extremely ambitious set and I have very pieces of it myself, but far as I can tell it's the best a WHM or BLM (as all pieces are equippable by a BLM) can get

Change the strap to bugard and I'm not sure what legs would be good to use for it tbh. Errant/Mahatma for those extra points of INT and MND?

As a taru BLM, with equipment, 4 HP merits, and Nero di Sippia +1, I was able to his 1399 HP and 850ish MP. Semi-affordable for BLM to obtain. I had the same idea the OP had with trying to survive CB. At that time the tanks said they noticed a hate reset or severe reduction if they survived CB, so I thought that would be awesome for a BLM to get reduced hate while keeping CB targeting off of tanks. However I'm still inconclusive about the hate reduction.

For the hate, after CB, everyone's hate will reduce to a lowest lvl. So, usually you will see it start hitting random ppl if tank doesn't pick it fast enough >.>

Thank you for responses. The point of trying to survive is we low man limbus, so a death to one person is a serious hurt. Usually do the fight with 2 pld, 1 whm, 2-3 bard/rdm, 2-4 melee, and maybe 3-4 blm if we're lucky, most of our damage comes from blm, so weakend(double/triple) just isn't very viable to our cause.

In my groups runs at this, with similar numbers on many occasions, any blm(including myself) drawn-in for CB just pops manafont and unleashes as much damage as possible in those 30s.
