Michael Jackson had Vitiligo, Lupus and Alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency

Aside from being addicted to pain killers, Michael Jackson was also struggling against vitiligo, lupus, and Alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency, which are all autoimmune disorders. Deepak Chopra, one of Jackson’s long time friends, confirmed reports dating back to 2007 that the pop star had lupus, which can affect any body part. vitiligo is a disorder that causes depigmentation of skin in patches, and there has been some evidence linking the disorder to a combination of environmental, genetic, and autoimmune factors.

Chopra said that Jackson had a lot of white blotches on his skin, so he would cover himself up, giving the media something more to write about. Gotham, Chopra’s son, said that the Vitiligo disorder bothered the singer more. He said that Jackson was very disturbed that people thought he wanted to be white and was bleaching his skin. It bothered him that people thought he hated being black, he continued. Lupus also bothered him a lot, Gotham added.

It has been claimed by Ian Halperin, the author of Jackson’s biography ‘The Final Years of Michael Jackson’, that the pop star had Alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency, another genetic disorder that can cause chronic obstructive lung disease during the adult ages of life. Those who have the disorder have to avoid damaging inhalants, which is why the singer was seen in public with a surgical mask so often.

The author also claims that about half a year ago he predicted that Jackson may die in 6 months. However, Tohme Tohme, Jackson’s official spokesman, dismissed the prediction as complete fabrication.

Hope people who read this can stop saying he "bleached his skin because he hated being black," when it was really Vitiligo. Idiots who said that were really stupid because he always hanged out with EVERYONE no matter what race, was very charitable (Note: We Are the World/Heal The World/Earth Song all three were charity/humanity/environmentalist songs Plus he donated millions). He even made a damn song about "doesn't matter if you're black or white." Also him wearing the mask was a result of Alpha 1 antitrypsin deficiency.

His nose though...might just be a genetic thing, everyone in his family has similar noses, and I doubt ALL of them would get surgery to get their noses done, his whole family is full of beautiful faced people really.

Actually, the nose can be explained. During a concert with the Jackson 5, or during rehearsal, he was doing a dance move and broke his nose. He had a plastic surgeon fix it.

The subsequent surgeries was just him being batshit insane self-conscious about it.
