    Thermoelectric heatsinks

Anybody have any experience with thermoelectric heatsinks?

How do they compare to high end air coolers or water coolers?

Over a year ago I used an Ultra Peltier CPU cooler on my Pentium 4 Extreme Edition after I decided to stop using water, and reading good reviews about it. After about 2-3 months of burn in, I concluded (other than the -5 celcius difference) its just a glorified air cooler.

I'm sure in a bigger application, that the units available out there would be more effective. But in this case, I wish I would of just wen't with a high-end Zalman with some Arctic Silver now.

the 5c difference one way or another means precious little in the real world, if you are looking to break records in overclocking you'll need LN, DI or cascade phase change cooling and a really big budget
